About this listen

Everyone in Rosemary Beach thinks they know how Rush Finlay and Blaire Wynn fell in love. But Rush is back to tell his side of the story...

Rush has earned every bit of his bad-boy reputation. The three-story beach house, luxury car, and line of girls begging for time between his sheets are the envy of every guy in Rosemary Beach, and Rush handles it all with the laid-back cool of a rock star’s son. All he needs are his best friend, Grant, and his sister, Nan.

Until Blaire Wynn drives into town in her beat-up pickup truck with a pistol under her seat. The Alabama farm girl instantly captures Rush’s attention once he discovers that the angelic beauty is his new stepsister, but he vows to keep his distance. Even if she needs his help. Even if he craves her.

Because Rush knows why Blaire is all alone in the world, forced to ask for help from the father who abandoned her three years ago. And he knows if he gets too close it will destroy Nan, who has a secret connection to Blaire.

He has every reason in the world to stay away from her. Find out why he doesn’t.

Loved this

It gives a different perspective from Rush's point of view and thoughts and explains things that happened when Blare wasn't there

Rushes side of the story blew me away!

This was steamy hot and so good! Makes me want to find myself a bad boy! I have just fallen in love with the folks in Rosemary Beach. I am telling you...you will not be able to stop with just one book from this author she is totally awesome! I just can't get enough. The minute a new book comes out I get it...usually have it on pre-order!!! I started this one about 1:00am just to hear a bit. Almost did not get any sleep. Finally I had to get a few minutes of rest, and started again with a cup of coffee and making breakfast. I don't what was hotter or sweeter my coffee of Rush! You will just have to get this one and find out. This was worth my money!

Great to revisit the best book in the series!

Reading/listening to this book was like finding the long-lost twin of "Fallen Too Far" (book 1) where we were first tethered into the wonderful, tumultuous and very passionate love story of Rush and Blair.

In this book, you will fall in love with sweet Blair all over again---Her gentleness, her perseverance and dignity when facing such tragic losses is nothing short of amazing. Such losses would have permanently broken a weaker person, but not Blair. Blair continues to be one of my favorite silently strong, but sweet heroines, ever.

Now, it was such a treat to get Rush's POV and to know his account in their love affair. It was great to see exactly where in the story he experienced his change of heart toward Blair, and to witness his very thought process along the way. It was funny to listen to his very vulgar, crass, but sexy as hell, inner thoughts about Blair…..Rush is all man!-- and, Glines did a fantastic job of portraying that in his book. Having Sebastian York narrate Rush's POV was simply sumptuous! He brings his man-lollipop to life! Loved the performance!

Well, if this book helps you fall in love with Rush and Blair all over again, it may re-acquaint you to the very hateful, selfish, and mean-spirited Nan (Rush's sister) all over again. I seriously hope Abbi Glines does not make her a heroine in a future book in this series. Nan's awful behavior (which I'm sure is even worse in Grant's book, which I have yet to read) is deserving of some real life consequences to match her character. Seriously, for me, I don't think Nan is salvageable as a character. On a side note, it was interesting to see how cold and hollow Abe (Blair's father) was, through Rush's eyes. In later books we find some redeeming qualities for Abe.

Overall, this was a really nice way to revisit the best book in the series so far!

Not much difference

There is not much difference between this book and Fallen Too Far. The only thing with this one is I found out the connection a lot sooner between Blair and Nan then you did in Fallen Too Far. I do not feel as if I gained any insight into Rush. I feel as if I learned more of him in the other books. I did like hearing this narration however. I loved getting to see Jace and Woods from Rush's point of view! Grant however came off as a total douche in this book lol. Just goes to show how men will act one way with their women and another with their boys.

Love Rush's POV

Loved knowing what was going through Rush's mind. Only drawback is that I've read all the books and would have loved if the book was the entire series in his POV. Where it leaves off feels awkward and like a cliff hanger. But, I love Abbi Glines and all of her books!!

Rush... Oh man what a rush!!!!

Would you listen to Rush Too Far again? Why?

Yes!!! And I have three times already. I love Rush's character in the first three books but I absolutely love him after this. All his raw emotions toward his family and all his conflicting feelings toward Blair was awesome.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Rush all the way.

What does Sebastian York bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Sebastian brings this story to life. He has the perfect deep voice that I always envisioned for Rush. I really hope he is the voice of Krit in Abbi Glines Bad for You!!! Please have him do it.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

YES!! I was upset when it was over, so I just listened to it again.
