Whatever happened to a simple approach to life? Whatever happened to our appreciation for the land, the air, water, animals? When did man take such a brutal turn where money, possessions, power, and control all became the priorities in society? Do you ever long for the time when life was simpler and developing inner spirit and cherishing family were tops on your daily to-do list? Well, you can get back there through the teachings of one who has had them passed down for generations. Now, you will know the secrets. In Sacred Voices, you'll discover a more peaceful, meaningful way of life and develop a powerful sense of self-worth by being taken into a world you never knew existed but at one time, brought people together to develop a spiritual sense of self and community that everyone could benefit from. Each session features a story, a ceremony, and a vision to help you become more deeply in touch with the "dance of life." You'll journey into the world of spirit, where you are both physical and spiritual, a person who stands on the earth and hears the song of the wind. Let Wolf Moondance show you how to live the best life possible! Join her on this spiritual journey to wholeness. May the spirit fill you as you follow the good red road. In this unique program you will:
- Learn how to make a medicine bundle and prayer ties
- Learn the power of sacred ancient ceremonies and Native American music
- Create sacred space where you can reflect and meditate on what you truly wish to achieve in life
- Learn how to combine your beliefs with those of the Native Americans for a healthier existence

Is there anything you would change about this book?
More accurate informationHow would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
More accurate information and a better command of the Lakota languageWhat did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
Some of the information was goodAny additional comments?
Some of the information is positive. Some is incorrect. While my ancestry is Mi'kmaq, I grew up among the Plains tribes. I've been blessed to have Apsaalooke, Lakota, Piikani and Salish elders and healers as mentors. One thing they all have had in common is that they absolutely detest the word "shaman." Also, I take issue with her stating that purple is a color that brings one down. It uplifts me. But, then, it's my favorite color and any shade makes me happy. I was amazed that she believes in Jesus Christ, but doesn't believe that we need a mediator. And, what is most commonly known as bear root or osha (pronounced o-shaw) is a healing plant for certain serious ailments. It's always been rare and, at least in the northern plains, only allowed to be in possession of healers. New agers have depleted it's availability even further. I would not suggest trying to harvest it unless you absolutely know what you're doing because it looks very much like its relatives which are extremely toxic, such as hemlock. Some positive information

Since I was 9 or 10, the Native American people's philosophy, spiritualism, ways of life have felt familiar and I knew I was connected to them. In my life of gaining knowledge on Inner Senses development, connecting with Spirit Guides and making sense of the communication , guidance and messages I have received and then wanting to understand what it means, Wolf's teachings are what I have been looking for ever since that moment during my first meditation to meet and receive a message from a spirit guide, seeing a bear, a buck and deer walk in front of me and then hearing from a deep male voice the word guarded, I now finally for sure know and understand what that was. Thank you Wolf for teaching me. I appreciate you very much. Aho.
