Publisher's summary

I can’t have Elijah Iverson.

I can’t have him because he’s my older brother’s best friend. I can’t have him because I broke his heart five years ago; because he’s now engaged to someone else - someone kind and dependable who deserves his whiskey eyes, his soft mouth, his fierce intellect.

I can’t have Elijah because I’ve chosen God instead.

The Bell brothers, though...well, we don't exactly have the greatest track record with vows. But I’m determined to do this monk thing right - to pledge myself to a cloistered life and spend the rest of my years in chastity and prayer. But now Elijah’s here. He’s here and he’s coming with me on my European monastery road trip, and between the whispered confessions and the stolen kisses and the moments bent over an ancient altar, my vows are feeling flimsier by the day.

And vows or not, I know in my heart that it would take more than a good and holy monk to resist Elijah Iverson right now. It would take a saint.

And we all know that I’m no saint.

(This is the third full-length stand-alone in the Priest Collection, featuring Father Bell's brother, Aiden Bell. You do not have to read Priest or Sinner to read Saint.)

Saint

This is the third book in the Priest series. This is the story of Aiden and Elijah. This is a MM brothers best friend. Aiden was a young spontaneous millionaire that had to want for nothing. On the outside he was Mr happy-go-lucky. But on the inside he was battling depression and no one knew. He had everything including the guy. Then one day he got a text message that saved his life. He dropped everything and became a monk. Five years fast forward and he is still in love with Elijah. Jacob Morgan and Sean Crisden did an amazing job narrating this book.

Beautifully written.

She did it again....

I don't know how she can bring religion and sex together and make it look so beautiful. I have been anticipating Aiden and Elijah's story for a while now and Sierra Simone did not disappoint.

"I love you like that. I love you like this. I love you like everything."

This is a book you need to savor like a fine wine and it will leave you feeling all the emotions for days.

The narrators brought this book to life.

This story has all the things

This was a re-read/listen and I just can’t say enough good things. How the author explores religion and spirituality and also mental health while writing a very touching love story with a good amount of spice gets me every time.
The narrators both driver perfect performances. I have read and listened to this book and the narration definitely brings it to another level.

Aiden and Elijah! I liked this book, but I felt like it was a little difficult to root for them because I didn’t really know Elijah that well! I wanted more of his POV, which was sprinkled in. I did really like the way the author handled topics of suicide, sexuality, and religion!

Mean Daddy Monk

I loved loved this story! I’m a sucker for the broken man. Hits me right in the feels! I also love how Sierra writes her stories, her characters, everything. How she describes a persons struggles not only sheds light on mental health but for someone who struggles helps them feel not as alone.

An Absolute must read

This book has a hold on me and will forever be one of my favorites. It touches on everything. The biggest to me was how mental health was talked about and presented. I won’t ever stop raving about this masterpiece. Bravo

Depression description

This is a realistic tortured hero rather than torture for cruelty sake. Society can really do a number on people and we all could use a dose of humility.
Thank you, Sierra Simone.

What do Monks think about?

It’s hard to explain in words why I loved this book so much. I think I’m a huge fan of what feels like unrequited love.
Throw in the religious aspect, and you have a story with consequences. And it’s how they navigate said consequences is what hooks me. Right in my heart.
Both MMC’s are good people doing the wrong things for the right reasons. Do they accept it and break their own hearts? Why?
This is what holds you hostage until the very last word. And I’m here for it and loved it.
It doesn’t hurt you have Aiden/Brother Patrick with his unabashed good looks. Elijah, with looks bordering on Shamar Moore and older brother’s best friend. Oh yes, this one takes you there. Did I forget to mention Jamie, Elijah’s fiancé?
This book is a banger for sure. Loved it!
