Did not care for Narrator

The narrator has a grating way of ending a phrase, almost like a question (on every one) her intonation goes up. Also the way she stated the chapters was annoying. She has a nice voice but couldn't get past the phrasing to enjoy it.

Save a Horse, Ride a Viscount

I liked the story and the characters! It was a cute book. What I didn't like was the narrator. She had an annoying lisp, and she had weird inflection. She seemed to put the emphasis in strange places. I had to increase speed just to get through the audiobook.

Narration was Difficult

I have really enjoyed this series so far and was excited to hear Clayton’s story. However, they changed the narrator for book 4 and I was extremely disappointed. This narrator reminds me of the most high born, pretentious lady who has ever spoken. She sounds like Cressida Cowper in Bridgerton. Her voice has an airy quality that makes it difficult to listen to and is so soft in places it’s hard to understand. I couldn’t return the book because I didn’t use a credit to purchase, but after only 15 minutes I couldn’t continue to listen either.

This is a fantastic read

I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I love the characters. They’re funny. They’re passionate their feisty and the narrator did a great job bringing them to life.

Horrible narration

Cute story. Nothing fabulous but a good read. However, the narration of the audiobook was abysmal. The reader added odd h sounds to the end of some words, mostly those ending in t or d. It was terribly distracting. Her overall narration was too cutesy.

Story is great!

After listening to the other books in the series of course, I got the next two and was excited to start listening to them. oh my gosh the lady who reads the books is absolutely horrible. I wouldn’t have bought the next book. If I would’ve listen to this one first I cannot take her voice. She puts a TH after every other word it’s ridiculous and her voice is all breathy and husky and it’s true. I can’t believe they let someone like that Read the book.

The worst narrator!

Additionally to her obnoxious sing-song intonation, Mary Sarah has a some sort of speech impediment that has her pronouncing all final “t”s and “d”s like “th”s. Why would any author let her narrate their books is beyond comprehension.
