About this listen

Having a mad crush on her boss's son, Matt Lacroux - an intriguing mix of proper gentleman and flirtatious bad boy - is probably not the smartest idea for single mother Mira Savage. Especially when the company, and her job, is already on shaky ground. But as a Princeton professor, Matt's life is hours away from Mira's home on Cape Cod, keeping him safely in the fantasy-only zone. And as a single mother to six-year-old Hagen, with a floundering company to save, fantasies are all she has time for.

With hopes of becoming dean off the table, and too many months of longing for a woman who lived too far away to pursue, Matt's publishing contract couldn't have come at a better time. He heads home to Cape Cod on a brief sabbatical, intent on starting his book, and finally getting his arms around sweet, seductive Mira.

A surprise encounter leads to white-hot passions and midnight confessions. The more time Matt and Mira spend together, the deeper their relationship grows, and the love and attention Matt showers on Hagen is more than she has ever dreamed of. But Matt's sabbatical is only temporary, and Mira's not saving his father's company so she can leave it behind. Will their whispers of love be enough for one of them to change their life forever?

Oh, the heat, the passion, and the love

BJ Harrison you are amazing. Your voice portrays these characters exactly as I expected them to be. You take characters that have feelings and brought them to life for me.

Melissa Foster…. Oh what you do to me. The heat, the passion, and the love are always amazing in your books. Seaside Whispers is no exception. While I LOVE LOVE LOVE all that what I really enjoy is the friendships. The Seaside Girls are absolutely the best friends anyone could ever ask for. I love how the open their “club” to other girls as they become part of the friendship circle. Of course there was chunky dipping, helping Mira achieve her goals, and support with every aspect of life.

The relationship between Matt and Mira was sweet. They’ve been flirting through text and occasional visits for over a year and when he decides to take a sabbatical for 3 months their relationship takes off. Matt didn’t just have a relationship with Mira he had a relationship with Mira and Hagen, Mira’s 6 year old son. The way he accept and included Hagen in all they did warmed my heart. I could understand how Mira was anxious about just letting Matt into their life when his plans were to leave again. Hagen and Mira both fell in love with Matt and him leaving would shatter them.

I loved the ending. Theresa is hilarious. Bella, one of the Seaside Girls, has pranked Theresa each season and Theresa gets the last word this season. I laughed so hard as tears fell because the moment was just so sweet and wonderful. I see a future with many more pranks.

good book!

This was a sweet story that I enjoyed from start to finish. I like the character, Matt and Mira as they had chemistry and real issues that they did well working through. The plot moved along and was kept me interested. I enjoyed the emphasis and importance of family for both of the characters. I can also see some future stories in some of the sub characters. I would recommend this book to others. The narration of this book by Mr. Harrison was performed well keeping me interested in the story from the start.

Love Matt & Mira in audio

Just when you think it can't get any better Melissa Foster writes a book that excels. I fell in love with Matt Lacroux immediately. He is a dream come true: smart, sexy and sensitive. Mira is a single mom who works in Matt's dad's hardware store. Mira’s son Hagen is so much like Matt. He is super smart and needs to be challenged. The relationship that develops throughout is a pleasure to read. Mira’s son Hagen plays an important role that bonds Matt’s and Mira’s hearts. Follow them along in this beautiful story. The narration by BJ Harrison is on point. I loved how he voiced the characters and especially Hagen. He truly is an exceptional narrator and made it so easy to follow. Kudos to both author and narrator.

Great Listen

I had the pleasure of listening to the audiobook of Seaside Whispers. Melissa Foster definitely knows how to capture our attention and pull us in with her books and Seaside Whispers is no exception. B.J. Harrison was the narrator and he does an amazing job drawing us in. Matt Lacroux is a professor at Princeton who is taking a 3 month downtime to return to his hometown. Mira Savage is an employee who works for Matt's father. Mira is a single mother to her son Hagen. Mira and Matt have great chemistry together and add that to the way Matt always makes time to spend with her son Hagen. This a perfect situation any single mother looks for. Meet a nice, hot guy who actually cares and wants to spend that one on one time with her child. Absolutely perfect. I loved the audiobook and how we can all relate to these characters.

From Friends to Lovers to Family

When Matt, a professor at Princeton, met Mira, a single mother, at his brother's engagement party, there was an instant connection. They stayed in touch via phone calls and texts after Matt when back Princeton. When Matt decided to take a sabbatical from Princeton, he head home to Seaside.
Mira worked for Matt's father at the family hardware store. When she learned of Matt's return, their friendship picked up where it left off. He began to realize that his priorities had changed and he wants to be more than friends with Mira and her son Hagan. When he takes Hagan under his wing, it allows Mira to open her heart to the possibility that they could be more than friends.
This is a friends to lovers romance that warms the heart.

Loved this story!

This is another excellent audio book written by Melissa Foster and performed by B.J. Harrison. I don't know how she does it after writing so many books, but Ms. Foster always comes up with fresh characters and story lines. The love feels real, the sex is hot and the children are just so darn adorable!
If you ask me, Mira's six year old, highly intelligent son steals the spotlight in this book. I raised three gifted sons, so maybe that's why I found him stealing my heart.
The concept of the female character, Mira, almost being a part of Matt's family already added a little something extra to the story. Matt was super sexy, maybe because he made it a point to tell Mira that he desired her, extra baby weight, etc., included. That's a real turn on. Yep! And then there's the glasses that just turned Mira inside out when Matt wore them! Naughty professor, indeed.
Loved it all!

A Family in the making

I listened to the audiobook in addition to reading this great addition to the Love in Bloom world! B.J.Harrison did a great job of bringing these characters to life.

Professor Matt Lacroux and single mom Mira Savage met at Matt's sister Skye's wedding and hit it off, building their friendship through texts when he returned to Princeton and occasional visits home. Mira is employed at Matt's father's floundering hardware store.

Matt takes a sabbatical to write a book and see if academic life is still the only path for him. He can't deny the excitement he feels at seeing Mira and her adorable and brainy six year old son Hagen.

Mira has some well thought-out ideas about making the hardware store more profitable, but is unsure about whether or not to broach the subject.

When Matt and Mira see each other after hours in the store it's obvious they have real chemistry. As a single mom Mira puts Hagen first in all things and debates with herself the wisdom of getting involved knowing Matt is only at the Cape for three months. However they decide to embark on a temporary relationship and get so much more than they bargained for.

Matt easily relates to Hagen and has the patience needed for a young and inquisitive child. He totally made me fall for him. Brainy, sweet and all male he's perfect for Mira and Hagen and they forge a real family bond.

As a single parent I could easily identify with all of Mira's real emotions. Once more a hit out of the ballpark! Get comfy, grab your favorite drink and settle in for a sweet and hot love story.

Wild, Sexy and Fun!

With Melissa writing and B. J. Harrison narrating, I felt like I was living this story.
Matt Lacroux was a Princeton professor and writer. He was all sexy and hotness. He was on a sabbatical, se he heads home to write and see if he can hook up with Mira. Mira Savage worked for Mat's father Neil, trying to support her son Hagen. She tries to get a co-op started to help Neil's business compete with big companies. It warmed my heart to see the connection between Matt and Mira's son Hagen. It is a well written and highly emotional story that will stick in your mind.
