Standalone with no cliffhangers.
He will live forever, she is human their love could never work so she left. Now she's back to care for her mother. As soon as they see each other they know it's still love, but nothing has changed.
How can they make it work? Can she be changed?
Nice twists and turns in this one.

I liked the story but the reader has this cadence to her voice that ruined the story for me. I couldn’t finish it on audible. Her voice is pleasant but it was like listening to someone read a science book. May be just me. I will not be purchasing any other books that she reads.
