The sudden disappearance of Sara Weston is a mystery to her seventeen-year-old son, Keith. A survivor of an arson fire, Keith is still healing, and in Sara's absence, he must face a challenging situation alone: the release of his half-sister, Maggie, from prison. Maggie, who was partially responsible for the fire, is the handiest target for Keith's rage. Reintegration into the outside world proves difficult for Maggie, even beyond dealing with Keith and her guilt. Somehow the two must find a way to overcome the past because Maggie and her family may be all Keith has left.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
Yes.Any additional comments?
All of the characters have sympathetic qualities of their own story. I like the way everyone was entertwined.Watch out for that twist at the end.

Would you be willing to try another one of Abby Craden and Kris Koscheski ’s performances?
The voices of males narrated by Abby Craden were so gravelly it was worse than nails on a chalk board, and her women and girls were mostly whiney. Andy's voice done by Kris Koscheski was perfect, and a great relief!Any additional comments?
The story was twisty & kept me listening in spite of my ears bleeding, which says a lot for Diane Chamberlain.Ouch! My ears still hurt!

The story itself was good enough, but ultimately destroyed by the narration.
Worst Narration Ever
