About this listen

Dark. Mysterious. Sensual. When Bronse Chapel, the commander of a specialized unit of the Interplanetary Militia, begins to dream about a beautiful and exotic brunette, he wants to dismiss it as being induced by lack of sleep ... or perhaps lack of sex. But his instincts tell him it's something different, something far more dangerous. Ravenna is the leader of the Chosen Ones, a small group of people from her village born with extraordinary powers. She doesn't know what draws her to Bronse's dreams night after night, but she senses that he and his team are in jeopardy. Ravenna can help him, but first Bronse must save the Chosen Ones from those who plan to use their powers for evil. Together, Bronse and Ravenna will be unstoppable. But Ravenna is hiding something that could endanger them all.

This was a pretty imaginative story. I think it was well done.

I liked it

The story is great but unfortunately the Three Worlds Series has been put on hold indefinitely by the author.

Not worth starting this series

I really enjoyed this first book in the series. The characters were described in detail to paint the perfect picture for your imagination. The narrator was excellent with the different characters.

Futuristic only Ms. Frank can deliver

the narrator's voice for the male lead is very annoying. I don't think I've heard a male impersonation that I've enjoyed less.

Modern day military meets mysticism. Science vs. Magic.
Can they co-exist? Can they be integrated? These are questions I hope that will be answered in following books.

The story was interesting, the fact that someone can communicate with another person through dreams. What a novel idea eh! Not at all, but it set up the story nicely. A trek through the jungle avoiding the bad guys, and dangerous animals. An easy listen/read and thoroughly enjoyable.

Nice book to lay on the chaise by the pool and listen to, or the beach.

Enjoy!

I liked it but almost didn't make it past how much detail too much detail given. Also annoying and became difficult keeping up w all the characters and who was who when the author used names and nicknames and kept jumping back and forth between them in the same breath.

Good except too detailed almost rambling.

I listened to the Nightwalkers Series and loved them. I then read The Bid, which by the way is an excellent book. I choose to start the Three Worlds Series and was a little disappointed by the lack of sensuality that the other books had but the book still held my attention and ended up being a good read. I enjoyed the story of the two worlds colliding together and the promise of fighting togther for a joint cause.

Great story, great action. Good book.

The title made me think of an imaginary relationship. I enjoyed the setting of the story. I enjoyed the Sci-fi aspect. I wonder if the other books continue the story. . .

Not what I expected

There is probably a pleasant little plot in this novel. Psy female needing rescue reaches out to military man . Military man and crew come to her rescue, and save her psy family as well. Obstacles are placed in their way. Love blossoms. But someone needs to take Ms Frank's Thesaurus away. Not every verb or noun needs an adverb or adjective. No, really. Sighs are delicious; wriggles are saucy; cries are feminine; air is wilderness cold, and on and on and on. When reading, you can skip over the overblown prose, but listening lets you be tortured by every unnecessary modifier. The reader does fine until she tries a mutilated Australian accent for the heroine and her family. Ugh.
