One awkward billionaire. One failed psychic. A tale as old as time....
Lola Pink is in all shades of trouble. Her shop is still under construction, she's sort-of fired from her job, and her hottest date this week is with a microwave burrito. However, when Dane Clark finds himself at the center of a murder investigation, Lola slips on her gorgeous vintage sunglasses and takes the case.
She's determined to prove that her sometimes-boss, sometimes-boyfriend is innocent, even if that means dealing with Dane's "charming" parents and planning a "splendid" charity gala in under two weeks. However, it doesn't take psychic powers for Lola to see that the closer she gets to uncovering the murderer, the more danger she's in - and this killer isn't afraid to strike again.
With Lola struggling to piece together love, career, and a murder investigation, she wonders if her relationship with Dane Clark is destined for failure or if maybe, it's been written in the stars all along....

You get to learn about each the first book, which was also wonderfully written. New characters are introduced and some make you laugh as the narrator brings them to life. The mother in law in this book was true to life with her horrible actions and I found myself feeling angry with her.
The writer has the ability to make you feel so many emotions about each character and that to me is a marvelous writer!
The narrator has to be given credit as well for making it easy to listen to and the transition from character to character smooth and enjoyable.
If you are looking for a refreshing book with a mystery to solve you will love this collection!
Outstanding Performance!

Overall enjoyed this book and it’s thrilling elements
I’m a huge fan of Gina’s books and I’m so glad that I found her.
Kudos to the amazing Wendy for narrating. She is simply sensational doing all of these different voices and inflections. Great job, Wendy.
This book dove more into the personalities of each character, which I really enjoyed. It’s another fun mystery ride throughout the seaside town.
I was trying to guess who the murderer was, but could not come up with the right person. I really enjoyed the roller coaster ride throughout this amazing book.
The parts that I thought were odd again not bad no cons just my opinion …
I don’t know why the author chooses to make Lola look ignorant at times. Since she is a strong, independent, intelligent woman.
I don’t understand why Lola would care anything about side character Andrea, since Andrea was not a good person, and in real life, anyone else would simply have dismissed her.
Without giving too much away, I honestly would not have put our main character Lola into some of the situations she was in. I understand this is a mystery, and I love the get up and go that Lola provides throughout the book. However, some of the situations just seem a bit far-fetched, such as when she was interrogating any of the characters it’s very obvious that Lola is not a detective or a police officer, and anyone else would’ve simply slammed the door in her face.
Parts of those moments were a bit cringe worthy for me, including the ending on the cliff. Anyone else would have said good riddance. Certain portions did not make any sense to me as a rational, thinking adult I am an empath, and I love people, but some of the things that were written on behalf of Lola’s character seemed to be
“Immature” and did not make any sense.
Overall, it was a fun listen. Thank you Gina I look forward to your next book.
🔮Namaste mystery lovers!
