About this listen

At age seventeen, Becca Tanner, a terminal cancer patient, is about to start over in a new body, in a new town. She dreams of nothing more than to live a normal life and to fall in love, but keeping secrets and cheating death will come at a staggering cost. Becca's new body has a past that is quickly catching up to her.

On a dark country road, a howling engine is silenced by screaming brakes. Glaring headlights once again bounce off the rear view mirror, flooding the interior of Becca's car like a spotlight. Becca realizes that this new life she has so carefully crafted for herself is about to unravel. As Becca follows the trail of clues to discover who’s after her, the danger she faces ratchets up. One more wrong move just might be her last.

The perfect mix of realism, sci-fi, and fiction! I couldn’t get enough! I REALLY hope they write more!!!!

One of the best books I’ve ever read!

Overall I think this book is great! I’m listening to it for the 2nd time, with one of my daughters (13). She loves it!
We love the home town and real location references. The character development is good, realistic, and you quickly know who you like and who you don’t.
At first, not knowing who Darla was, is annoying lol. But when you find out, it puts more of the pieces together. So hang on!
I think the narrator did a really good job with the voices. The only complaint is she is slow! I moved up the speed just a bit and it was fine, felt like normal speed.
I won’t put any spoilers on here but just say we’re really looking forward to the next book so hope the authors are fast! Haha.

Very good story/ characters

The premise of the story has potential, but I can't get past how boring the performer is. The book gets super long winded about the wrong stuff like when she first gets to the horse farm. I've fallen asleep 3 times and I'm 2 hours in.

Has potential
