About this listen

Everyone has secrets.

YouTube baking sensation April Masterson knows the secret to the perfect gooey brownies. Or how to make key lime squares that will melt in your mouth. But if you keep watching her offline, you may find out some other secrets about April; secrets she’d rather you didn’t know - like where did her son go when he snuck out of the house? What was she doing with the local soccer coach behind fogged windows? And what’s buried in her backyard?

Everyone has secrets. Some are worse than others. April’s secrets are enough to destroy her. I’ll make sure of that.

The recording sounds as though it is being played back on a cassette tape that’s a bit old. Volume has to be high to hear it, and it’s still a bit fuzzy. Story was good, but hard to enjoy for the content given the quality.

Horrible audio quality

Absolutely loved it. The first half was better than the last half though. Mainly because the second half has a character I didn't like as much but it's not really bad. I just didn't love her as much.

Loved it. Narrator was amazing

This book was like a Lifetime movie in audible format! It was totally frivolous, but kind of fun.

Guilty Pleasure

Freida McFadden is one of my favorite authors but this story isn’t great. It kept my attention only because I needed to find out how it ended.

Not my favorite Freida story

Not her best work kind of drags but I sure didn’t see the ending coming!!

Not her Best

“Want to know a Secret?” Or maybe it’s not the best thing to do just yet.
Very interesting story line. I think most of us HATE to be lied to but barely hesitate speaking untruths when we think it’ll help us!
This book tells the story then stops and tells the real, truthful story! I usually guess the ending…but not on this one, I am happy to say! I did feel like the characters were a bit jumbled up-but that was probably just me. I’m weird about character development. Many blessings to all 🙏🇺🇸

Last part of the Bible (as we know it today) seems rushed

I love that this story kept me guessing, and I absolutely love the surprise ending and all the surprises in between! This author is definately one of my favorites for when I want an "edge of my seat" and "don't want to put it down" book.

what stood out most? The surprising twists!

The narration kinda drove me nuts...but the story itself made it worth it. McFadden has never disappointed!

90% thrilled

It was just okay. Nothing to write home about. I could have gone without this one for sure.
