About this listen

Due to a last-minute change in plans, a group of unlikely traveling companions finds themselves on a camping trip in the Adirondacks. They include the soon-to-be-divorced Valerie; her oddball friends, Melissa and James; her moody teenage daughter, Brianne; and Val's estranged husband's fiancee, Jennifer. Val is dealing with unresolved feelings toward her ex and grappling with jealousy and resentment toward his younger, prettier new flame. Brianne is 16 and openly rebellious, caught up in a web of secrets and lies. What Val and her companions don't know is that a pair of crazed killers is wreaking havoc in the very same woods. When an elderly couple is found slaughtered and Brianne goes missing, Val finds herself in a nightmare much worse than anything she could have anticipated.

I found this book funny, and good

I found this book funny, and yet I do have a wicked sense of humor, Other people may have not find this book funny. It also helped that naratore was great and helped making it funny. It was a good story, however it did seem a bit long towards the end. I do think it is worth a credit.

Fielding does not disappoint

Story was scary and thrilling. Kept me guessing until the very end. What you might think might not be what is,

Would Have Rather Cleaned My House

This novel had a shot.. the genre was stated to be mystery / suspense. The reader does experience some suspenseful moments, but way too late in the story, causing problems with the story's execution. My primary issue is that the entire first quarter of the book, and off and on throughout the novel, was the protagonist's obcessive description of her cheating husband. There was little to no character development due to this, which sadly puts this mystery/suspense novel in the chic lit genre.
