About this listen

Now a Netflix TV show!

Featuring a diverse cast of characters and plenty of gossip, lies, and scandal, Shiny Broken Pieces continues the soapy drama listeners loved in Tiny Pretty Things.

June, Bette, and Gigi are competing one final time for a spot at the prestigious American Ballet Company. With the stakes higher than ever, these girls have everything to lose...and no one is playing nice.

June is finally starting to see herself as a prima ballerina. But being the best could mean sacrificing the love of her life. Legacy dancer Bette is determined to clear her name after she was suspended and accused of hurting her rival, Gigi. And Gigi is not going to let Bette - or the other dancers who bullied her - go unpunished.

It all comes down to this last dance. Who will make the cut? And who will lose her dream forever?

Pretty good story

I like the continuation of this story from the first. Everything is summed up and tied together in a neat bow. It wasn’t as drama filled as the first book, but still pretty good. Love the Netflix series!

Riveting

I couldn't wait to get in the car so I could listen to this well written tale. Characters are complex and compelling even if they aren't always sympathetic. narration was superb and the pacing never flagged

Bad Ballerinas!

First, I have to say: What a great series! I absolutely loved both books. I wish there was a third one to look forward to!

It's dramatic, but there are diverse characters, a gripping plot, and a really good overarching story. Bad ballerinas go good, good ones go bad, and there is a healthy dose of awareness when it comes to bulimia, body image, and race within the ballet world.

I highly recommend it!

Baf Ballerinas are Back!

I loved this book and was disappointed to find out it was the last in the series. Some of the accents were a little rough, but the narrators certainly did their best and overall it was a great experience.
