Story
In Dimensions, Dr. Jacques Vallee reexamines the historical record that led to the modern UFO phenomenon and to the belief in alien contact. He then tackles the enigma of abduction reports, which come from various times and various countries, as well as the psychic and spiritual components of the contact experience. In the last portion of the book, he notes the factors that inhibit research into the phenomenon - the triple coverup and political motivations - and concludes that the extraterrestrial theory is simply not strange enough to explain the facts.

As a professor of anthropology, Masters uses an abductive approach to logically infer the best explanation. He examines well-documented abductee experiences in the context of this time travel model, and considers other theories put forth to elucidate this complex and mysterious phenomenon.

Since the early days of human warfare, which may date back to the Stone Age, combatants have sought to gain an advantage through the acquisition of secret information. With the growth of technology, a parallel advantage was sought through the application of numerous types of torture. In the 19th century, the concept of manipulation was added to military tactics, an attempt to influence the minds of assassins, double agents, and world leaders alike to act against their natures.

He cuts to the bare mathematical essence of our most profound theories, explaining every step in a uniquely accessible way. Quantum field theory is how modern physics describes nature at its most profound level. Starting with the basics of quantum mechanics itself, Sean Carroll explains measurement and entanglement before explaining how the world is really made of fields.

Do multiple versions of ourselves exist in parallel universes living out their lives in different timelines? In this follow-up to his best seller, The Simulation Hypothesis, MIT computer scientist and Silicon Valley game pioneer Rizwan Virk explores these topics from a new lens: that of simulation theory. Bringing his unique trademark style of combining video games, computer science, quantum physics, and computing with lots of philosophy and science fiction, Virk gives us a new way to think about not just our universe, but all possible timelines in the multiverse!

Story
Nearly everyone is familiar with holograms - three-dimensional images projected into space with the aid of a laser. Two of the world's most eminent thinkers believe that the universe itself may be a giant hologram, quite literally a kind of image or construct created, at least in part, by the human mind. University of London physicist David Bohm, one of the world's most respected quantum physicists, and Stanford neurophysiologist Karl Pribram, an architect of our modern understanding of the brain, have developed a remarkable new way of looking at the universe.

I'm rethinking reality...
This audiobook really opened my eyes to the whole simulation theory thing. It's laid out in a way that's easy to grasp, even for someone who's not a science whiz. Makes you look at the world a bit differently, wondering if we're all just part of a big digital game... Definitely worth a listen for anyone who likes their mind blown.

Wonderfully crafted and well executed piece of art
Simulation theory is a go to right now without delay. This author intelligently explains and bridges the gap between the virtual and reality and how this can help bring us into context with the life we live in today's world. This is a much listen book and so nicely recited that once one starts listening there is no room to stop.

Different perspectives on a relevant topic
This is the most interesting book that I didn't know I would love. I enjoy listening to all different kinds of books. When I came across this one I didn't really know what it was all about, but it looked interesting. And it was! With the rise of AI and technological advances happening so quickly, it raises a lot of questions. What should we do with AI? What does it mean for our normal lives? Or, our NEW normal lives? I like how this book gave different perspectives on the topic. It really made me think.

Incredible to fathom
I love how this book makes you consider so many possibilities outside your normal understanding of the world and of our existence. It provides a detailed look at the arguments both for and against the possibility that we are currently living in a simulation created by an advanced society capable of simulating consciousness. What a fascinating journey of mind-bending possibilities.

got me hooked from the start!
This audiobook dives deep into the whole tangled mess of our existence. It covers philosophy, science, and pop culture, taking you on a super interesting trip where it takes apart what reality is. It's awesome at explaining tricky stuff in a simple way for newbies but still drops some serious knowledge bombs for those who already know a bit. It connects Elon Musk's cool ideas with mind-blowing quantum physics discoveries, making a super cool mash-up of mind-bending arguments that'll keep you thinking way after you've finished listening. I like this cool journey that messes with your thoughts and makes you want to peek behind the curtain of what we think is real.
