About this listen

I always thought I’d start the apocalypse. Instead I’ve been asked to help end it.

How does one stop the end of the world, you might ask? You gotta knock up Lucifer’s vessel before he does.

I know, I know. I was surprised too. But let me tell you, if ever there was an incubus made for the job, it’s me.

With a name like Sin, you’d think this should have been the easiest task I’d ever been assigned. And you’d be correct. Except said vessel is a beautiful and dangerously powerful succubus in her own right. Oh, and she’s not interested.

Not in me or any of the other horsemen who were assigned to protect her. Yup, that’s right. The four horsemen of the apocalypse are back.

War
Pestilence
Famine
Death

She may not be our biggest fan, but one of us has to be her baby’s daddy. Which is why she’s been forced to live with us until we get the job done. We’ve never been very good at sharing. Or at saving things instead of destroying them, but when you know who calls in a favor, you don’t say no.

The Doomsday clock is ticking, so save the world it is.

Now if only we could get Merri to play ball. Because if we don’t find a way to get her pregnant before he does, then it’s not just the end of us. It’s the end of everything.

For fans of Supernatural and American Horror Story, USA Today bestselling authors Meg Anne and K. Loraine are thrilled to bring you the final installment in the Mate Games Universe.

Warning: The Mate Games: Apocalypse is a spicy paranormal series featuring morally gray heroes whose methods of protection aren’t always above board. Not that you can expect much honor from a celibate recluse, an incubus rockstar, the original shadow daddy, and a grumpy ex-Spartan. They are the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, after all.

Narration Spot On

This dynamic writing duo has done it yet again! The full cast of narration is the absolute best ever and I listened to Sin in one go! So excited to see the next book in the Apocalypse series. Don’t miss out on this book especially in audio.

Sin

This is Merri and the four horsemen's story. Can Grimsby, Chaos, Malice, and Sinclair protect her? If not there will be a apoclypse. Her being a succubus can they keep their hands to themselves? You bet not, there are sex scences.

Best of audiobooks

If you haven’t read the other Mate Games series (War, Pestilence and Death) they are must before this book. Ok back to Sin, it’s amazing, the banter, the writing, the plot, the spice and especially the narration. This is definitely a must read and worth every bit of your credit!

Love love love this book

Overall Thoughts: Holy four horsemen of the apocalypse, Batman! I have loved every series of the mate games, and will be doing a realist of War next month for my birthday! Now about this book, I have very high expectations given the past series and this book blew them out of the water. All the teasing, and promos leading up to release had me on the edge, and boy did it deliver. I have no complaints about this book, it is a great start to what is sure to be an epic ending (even though I am sad it is ending). Stella Hunter is amazing as Merri, and her bratty, seductive personality is top notch. Jason Clarke is the embodiment of Chaos (War). JF Harding, is fantastic as Sin (Famine). James Joseph gives something special to Malice (Pestilence), and new to the cast this time is Shane East as Grim (Death) rounding out the grumpy Brits. Christian Fox also lends his voice as Lucifer, and is perfect. Teddy Hamilton also reprises his role as the Hacker Asher, with surprise appearances by some of our other favorite characters from earlier series.

Narration: Full-cast, duet narration, first-person present tense, multiple POVs some flashbacks

Tropes: Reverse Harem, end of the world, four horsemen, succubus/incubus, devil, life in danger, protectors, web caming, ‘mine’, they fall first, enemies to lovers, “brothers”, underground fighter, rockstar, hacker/computer genius, seclusion

Overall: 5
Spice: 3
Humor: 4
Drama: 3.5
Darkness: 3
Narration: 5 (10)

Merri is a celibate succubus taken by the four horsemen in order to stop the end of the world. She works at Iniquity as a cam girl and feeds off the sexual desires of her fans.

Our four dark and broody horsemen consist of Sinclair (Sin) aka Famine, Grimsby (Grim) aka Death, Chaos aka War, and Malice aka Pestilence. With the goal of getting Merri pregnant before Lucifer does and ushers in the next apocalypse.

Between keeping Merri safe, fighting of demons, and fighting amongst the men, it isn't long before things are coming apart at the seams. Will their common goal bring them together, or will it be their downfall?

Yes Yes Yes

Narration literally pinnacle of perfection.
Story was great Merri got on my nerves just a smidge but I warmed to her.
Smut was good but way to sparse for my preference.

newest series

the four horse men are called in to stop an apocalypse instead of start it. So they are tasked with getting getting Merri pregnant which you would think would be easy as she is a succubus. They soon find out just how wrong. A new series worth reading and/or listening to.
