New school year, same old problems....

At Mythos Academy, everyone knows exactly who I am: Rory Forseti, Spartan girl and the daughter of Reapers.

Even though I fought alongside my cousin Gwen Frost to save the mythological world from Loki and his evil Reapers of Chaos, I'm still the most hated girl at the academy because of all the horrible things my parents did. I had hoped that this school year would be different, but the other kids just won't let me forget about my parents.

But something strange is going on at the Colorado academy. First, I run into a Viking guy who dislikes me more than most. Then I notice some odd artifacts in the Library of Antiquities. And worst of all, I start hearing rumors about a new group of Reapers who can summon mythological monsters.

I might be the most hated girl at Mythos Academy, but I'm also the only one who can save it....

I love Rory’s storyline, especially when she met Ian. This book kept me engaged and wanting to keep listening.

This was a great book

This was a really good book with a really good performance. The only problem I had with this book is how team Midgard dealed with catching villains. I don’t wanna spoil anything, but it kind of irks me.

Another Excellent story by this Author!!

I have been following this author through a couple of series and she is a wonderful writer. The Narrator was very good too and did a great job of bringing this story to life. I am looking to the next book in this Series, already have downloaded it and will start as soon as I post this review!

I loved this!!

Rory is back! I loved the way this story unfolded. We met Rory in the last two books of the original “Mythos Academy” series and I knew them she was going to be an awesome character to follow.

Rory is in her 2nd year at Mythos Academy in Colorado. She’s the girl whose parents were reaper assassins. She’s a misfit Spartan Warrior with no friends, other than her aunt Rachel. Her daily life this years seems to be going as it ended last year: each day kids will taunt her. Hate her even for things she hasn’t done.

Her life takes a turn for the interesting when she runs into a new kid. Then meets another. And then... she spy’s a reaper in the library and has to fight creatures... it’s starting al over again but with a twist.

Rory is being brought into a special group of kids. Spies for the protectorate. They’re job is to locate possible Reaper targets.

Events unfold slowly at first but when the gang is trust into the middle of a coming battle they have no choice but to fight, giving their all to not be taken down like so many before them. It’s a literal fight to the death.

The character development and depth.

I wasn’t sure whether I would be able to get into this series as I loved the first mythos academy books so much. This series I can relate sobmuch more to and think I live it more for it’s interesting characters. Rory has certain qualities I really admire and it feels like it took her cousin Gwen so long to arrive at something similar. Or maybe it’s the mountains, wildflowers, and spartan vs viking and the Valkyrie who makes all the gadgets that really intrigue me. I can’t put these books down! 🩷🩷🩷🩷🩷

narrator needs to learn how to turn a page while reading the last sentence.

you cannot be a good narrator if you can't memorize 5 words well enough to keep reading while on the next page. You can definitely tell when a page is turned because she pauses for far too long and it's extremely annoying.
