About this listen

Hunting for the bad guys has never been so dangerous...

My name is Rory Forseti, and I attend the Colorado branch of Mythos Academy, a school of warrior kids, powerful artifacts, and mythological monsters.

I'm a student, a fierce Spartan warrior, and a member of Team Midgard, a group of kids and adults tasked with stopping the evil Reapers of Chaos. There is one Reaper I'm determined to hunt down above all others: Covington, the man who murdered my parents.

So when the Midgard gets a tip that Covington is going to try to steal a dangerous artifact, I'm ready to fight. But the situation is far more complicated than it seems, and the Reapers aren't my only enemies.

I'll have to use all my Spartan strength and skills to survive this. And even then, it might be my blood that gets spilled....

Reapers suck.

Just when I thought this series couldn’t get any better... Jennifer throws a curve ball at me.

Rory and Team Midgard are on the hunt for the reapers. Covington and Drake are both a spur in their heels, as it is but now, they’re really asking for a good ole fashion butt whoopin’, Spartan style.

Rory and gang try to keep the reapers from getting another artifact. Of course as with any well lados plan they run into a few hiccups. Reapers aren’t their only problem. They got creatures and other students to worry about.

Just when you think you know what’s going to happen, another door opens, another character comes into the story and chaos erupts... I freaking loved every second of it.

My only regret... I have to wait for the next book... it’s gonna be a long couple of months!

just ...come on!

wanted to like this. really, really tried. as a compulsive listener, I have accepted that stupidity is sometimes used by authors to move a plot . however, the stupidity required to prolong this story into apparently enough installments to make enough money has equated to utterly assinine repetition of initially stupid mistakes that I just can't even! Spoiler (sort of) alert--- I can sum this up as follows: group of supposed superheroes with worldwide organization repeatedly make this plan...let's just group up and watch for when the bad guys do their really bad thing and AhHa we will catch them read handed...i mean, we know who they are and what they are doing, but let's not stop them before they steal/sell the world threatening relic, let em almost succeed and then we will catch 'em...oh wait, we didn't get it right, world gonna end....no wait...in a deathly battle with the world at stake we will now beat the bad guys in a fight!
