Publisher's summary

Lethally sexy undercover agent Stefan Prakenskii knows a thousand ways to kill a man-and twice as many ways to pleasure a woman. Wonderful!

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Christine Feehan will capture you and take you for a thrilling, passionate, dangerous, journey.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I honestly can't pick a favorite from this book. I enjoyed it that much.

Which scene was your favorite?

When the girls laughed because Levi was not invited in.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Judith knew that Stefan had not left her to be taken by Jean-Claude and the church scene.

Any additional comments?

I enjoy Christine's work. I've been reading her for years. She's one of the originals!

The narrator made the story for me!

Like others here, I've read all the Sea Haven books and listened to most of them. I really like the male narrator for the Prakenski's and I hope they will continue to use this narrator for the rest of the books. One person commented he didn't do any accents. He used a French accent, a Russian accent and an American accent. He was pretending to be an American for much of the book. I enjoyed his voice very much.

The story itself was also very good and the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because, like most Feehan books, things are repeated endlessly. But it seems to work for her as she sells lots of books, many to me!

The next book, Air Bound, is due out in May, 2014, and I so hope they will use a male narrator. These are the Prakenski brothers books and they are male, very male! Yea!

Just FYI for Audible, I did NOT get the audio book for Water Bound because the sample did not demonstrate her male voices. Some women are pretty good, but others just keep sounding like women. Just unacceptable.

Romantic Suspense with her sister and his brother

That’s one sparse Publishers Summary.
Judith Henderson lives on a shared farm in Sea Haven with her Sisters of the Heart, who just happen to be specially gifted.
Years ago, she made the mistake of falling for a man who turned out to be evil. She grieves for her older brother who raised her when their parents died; but Paul was killed when he wouldn’t give up her hiding place.
Stefan Prakenskii has been sent to Sea Haven to investigate Judith, who is the subject of LaRoux’s obsession; to see if he can find a lead on the stolen microchip; and, he suspects, to act as a lure to draw out his brother Lev for termination. Of course, he falls for Judith because life isn’t complicated enough.
The sisters explore their powers and bond deeper. The two brothers reconnect and unite against being assassinated by the Russian politico Sorbikov who was responsible for killing their parents and separating them as children.
Feehan is very creative, but tends to repeat selected phrases multiple times.
Harvey has a pleasant voice that I enjoyed; but could use work on his female voices and character differentiation.
Ok, Audible tech support: this is my 4th attempt to submit my written review.

Spirit Bound

Judith has survived a very painful past where she witnessed her brother tortured and killed. The rage & anger that lives within her is dangerous to those around her because she amplifies their feelings with her own. Then along comes Stefan Prakenskii. A dark & dangerous man with the ability to not only control her dark emotions but understand & heal them. It's a match made in the spirit. 2 down, 4 to go!

Quintessential sensuality

So fun to read and listen to over and over. I am returning again because it was just that good mood-boosting story where love won the battle.
