About this listen

In the eleventh book in the New York Times bestselling Spy School series, Ben Ripley goes on a rescue mission when one of his own is abducted from a remote Alaskan training facility.

Ben Ripley and his friends are training in Alaska when Cyrus Hale is kidnapped by his old Russian nemesis. Ben, Erica, and the others mount a rescue mission, but events quickly spiral out of control in a plot involving the secret history of US-Russian relations, a young KGB agent with skills to rival Erica’s—and lots and lots of bears.

Amazing also stop hating on Zoe

I dont get why people are hating on Zoe this much, I mean I get some parents don’t like their child exposed to that kind of stuff, but if your going to listen to a book and then complain about how you didn’t like it, that’s very unnecessary. Also, stop saying Zoe’s gay her sexuality isn’t confirmed. Stuart Gibbs is doing amazing.

WHY IS ZOE GAY!!!

I rly liked the story and all but I don't like that Zoe is gay.It doesn't mean that I don't support LGBTQ it's just that the image of Zoe kissis another girl just ruined the book for me

I sorry

I enjoyed the story and like the path it took. The only reason I have rated this book this way is because a couple events in this story made my experience listening to this book less enjoyable. I found it a little predatory that politics were added to a children’s book, especially when one side is made to be the villain. I have read all of the previous books and know this author likes to promote environmental issues and I have no problem with that, but the addition of politics not only ruined the book for me, it also ruined the characters (Spoiler Alert). Catherine was the only adult not to go against stopping the Russians. She actively promotes the children going on this mission. This puts her in a bad image, especially when Cyrus and Alexander try to stop the kids from going on this dangerous mission. Actually this ties into the politics thing. Gibb’s could have easily wrote it to where the kids are forced to stay back while the adults handle it. This has been done multiple times in the series before making it feel like the author (No offense) wanted to enforce his political ideas. In all it is not what he is promoting that I have a problem with. The problem I have with this book is the predatory use of politics at the expense of the book and the characters.
