Publisher's summary

Stacey's so excited! She's invited her friends in the Baby-Sitters Club to New York City for a long weekend. It's going to be perfect - a party and a sleepover on Friday, a big baby-sitting job on Saturday, and lot of sightseeing on Sunday.

But what a mistake! The BSC is way out of place in the big city. Mary Anne sounds like a walking guide book, Dawn is afraid of everything, Kristy can't keep her mouth shut, and Claudia is jealous of Stacey's friends. Can Stacey be in the BSC anymore?

Relive your childhood memories

What happens when Stacy best friends meet for the first time? Trouble occurs. The narrators are amazing.

Book for the Family

I love the series! I even have my seventh grade son reading it. I guess he can be Logan! I love the subtle way this author has of dealing with real life issues such as diabetes, homelessness, latant racism, etc.! Of course, that’s a sweeping commentary on the entire series. Stacey’s Mistake is simply outrageously funny and heartwarming. I wish there was a more affordable way to get ALL 130 something books from Audible. Like box sets or something. Well, onto the next one!

Great book but...

I loved this book it was so good but the narrator called Mary Anne Anne Mari in a part of the book so she needs to practice but other than that this book is great!

What's up, New York!

5 out of 5 Dinosaur Bones

One of the best Stacey ones IMO.

Even though the girls are fighting and being neurotic in their own ways I love how they came together to be professional and care for the kids.

I loved the day they had at Museum of Natural History and in Central Park. I related to Stacey at the end of being a native New Yorker and not seeing the beauty in NY. I should spend a day in the city as a tourist because I have become jaded.

Again, my biggest critique is that the narrator does not do a New York accent and she sounds like a Valley Girl.
