Publisher's summary

"Both writers owe a huge debt to Charles Everett for narrating this powerful audiobook. Without flashy sound effects, Everett expertly leads listeners through this story about a disparate group of warriors who use the devil himself to do good." (AudioFile)

In Stan Lee's The Devil's Quintet: The Armageddon Code, the world-famous architect of the Marvel Universe teams up with New York Times best-selling author Jay Bonansinga to unleash a bold new superhero series on the world.

A five-person special ops unit, composed of a diverse assortment of former Navy SEALs from all walks of life, are responding to a terrorist threat deep in the Caucasus Mountains when their mission goes south in a big way. Facing certain death and torture, they’re unexpectedly offered a Faustian bargain by the Devil himself, who grants them unearthly powers in order to send evildoers to Hell on his fiendish behalf.

But “The Devil’s Quintet” do things their own way, fighting to protect America and the world, while trying their best not to let their hellish new abilities corrupt them beyond redemption....

AudioFile Magazine on Stan Lee's The Devil Quintet: The Armageddon Code

“A brilliant, devious, thoroughly exciting thriller! A perfect blend of high-concept SpecOps action and devious horror. Stan Lee and Jay Bonansinga bring the pain but never forget the heart!”

—Jonathan Maberry, New York Times bestselling author of V-Wars and Rage

“A fast and wildly entertaining mix of military derring-do, demonology, romance, crackling wit, and verbal dexterity that will keep readers panting for the next installment. Stan Lee would be proud.”

—Gary Braver, award-winning and bestselling author of Tunnel Vision and co-author of Choose Me

Wasn't the way I wanted to remember the man

It read the way most of Mr Lee's stories are heroes created by fill in the blank.
difference is that are they good or bad at heart. A covert group of tech savvy monks really?
narrator was kinda lacking . only one emotion sorry

Do not get it because of Stan Lee's name

Stan Lee may have had the idea for this book but I do not see him writing something like this. Way too much unnecessary bad language and way too much sex. The story was just off somehow, I will not be buying the second book

Write what you know

It’s obvious that no one involved with this story knows ANYTHING about guns.
Cocking a Glock’s hammer? Just all kinds of stuff like that.

ugh

I like marvel comics. I like thrillers. I like graphic novels. I like stories. I like literature. I like wordplay. This was comic to prose mediocrity. Redundancy, cliche, and predictability. I would see see it comic form, but unless it came up with an original thought I wouldn't read beyond first issue. It tries to maximize the dead man's vault (if?), it fails.
