Publisher's summary

A tornado has destroyed a small Minnesota community and among the missing are not only a group of students but PEAK Rescue team leader Chet King. Ty Remington will stop at nothing to rescue his mentor, not even when the girl he loved - and lost - walks back into his life. But Brette needs his help more than he knows, despite her stubborn determination to push him away. And when he gets a second chance, loving her just might cost him more than he can imagine.

A blogger for Vortex Storm Chasers, Brette Arnold didn't expect her adventures to land her in the same place as Ty, the guy who she walked - no, ran - from over a year ago. She had her reasons - good ones. The kind that tell her that falling for him again would only lead to heartache. But Ty isn't the kind of man to give up - not on the missing students, or on her.

Life and love hang in the balance in Susan May Warren's breathless story of holding on to hope during a deadly summer of storms.

Great series

This series has a lot of twists & turns with romance, inspiration, danger & human perseverance. I have really enjoyed it. On the last book now!

Faith in God's guidance = links Love to all

This story was not as fun to read as some of her other books on Montana. Although I completed it to put all the characters in place. I also may have missed a book to read first

More rescues and more romance drama

The PEAK team seem to lead very exciting lives and continue to do rescues even outside Montana?? The romance threads were exhausting and took away from the harrowing rescue parts. Narration—-more tawny southern sounding accents—-in Minnesota & Wisconsin? That grated on my ears—being from the Midwest and also lived in the south. The ending is quite the cliff-hanger—-meaning you must find the next book—which by the way is not I closed in an audible escape membership. Now that’s frustrating after the first 5 books were!

HATE the singing!!!!

Great story, but cringed every time the reader decided to sing. Different songs, all the same tune...even Amazing Grace. I will not listen to any more books with her singing in them. NOT necessary. And not worth having to listen to.

Great Series...too much relationship drama

I have loved the underlying theme of this series. However, each book deals with relationships that have at least one person who is self-depreciating and too prideful to ask for help. This theme gets really annoying. EVERY character has these same traits...assumptions made instead of actually talking things out, not trusting others, small grievances becoming huge boulders in the relationships. This is fine for one couple, but to have the same things in every book gets tiring. Oh, and every character can “taste” their significant other for months after. This is supposed to be a Christian based series...no need for the repetitive deep kisses and tasting of the senses.

Montana Rescue Series

This book was my absolute favorite in this series... it made me laugh, and it made me cry. I love the humbleness of Ty and the raw emotions of Brette.

This was my first series by Susan May Warren and she didn’t disappoint. The story line of each character only deepened in each book causing you to really feel connected to all of them. I can’t wait to dive into more of her novels.

Several Twists and Turns!

The storms set my heart racing! I kept hoping everyone would be found safe (sorry, no spoilers here)!
I was happy to see that several couples finally had their blinders lifted.
And of course, I love how this is a Christ centered book!

A Beautiful Story of Love & Redmption

Ty has been a bit of a mystery to me in the past few books. Sometimes I was even frustrated with him at times when he was playing the role of boyfriend to Jess (at her request)...and Brette was an enigma to me -- like why did she just get up and run from a guy for whom she obviously had feelings? Storm Front is a gradual revelation of the situations and emotions - the brewing 'storms' - in the lives of Brette and Ty. It is also the culmination of the ongoing story of Ben and Kacey and I loved and appreciated this aspect of the story and appreciated their resolution almost as much as the final scenes with Ty and Brette. A beautiful story of love and redemption.
