Okay so i don't like the BPI agent maybe because she works for THE MAN but i just didn't like how she treated the girls but oh well just can't wait for more

Like with most of the series Eric Vall writes i love them at first, but it seems the author either doesn't have an ending planed, or simply doesn't want to end them. Making most of the later books feel forced, the conflict is frustrating, the new characters stale, etc.
Making the MC more powerful over time is a good way to progress through the story, but to instantly make the new enemies equally or more powerful, without a decent reason, negates all the MCs struggles to get there.

Story not so much. Decent world, decent characters. Het a D and D DM to go over the battles.
