About this listen

Despite a tumultuous past, Sugar Alise Clark is determined to be successful. When she meets Dyna, owner and proprietor of Dymes Exotic Escort Service, she takes off down a path of easy money and fast living.

Their friendship quickly sours when Sugar decides to branch out on her own. Sugar opens a gentleman’s club called Sugar Walls and becomes involved with a new love - who happens to be the father of her sister’s child. Sugar thinks she’s leaving her past behind to forge a better future.

It’s not long before Sugar discovers that her dreams of happily ever after might not be possible. She wakes up stranded and near death, unsure of who put her there. The two people that Sugar cared about the most are on a path of revenge, determined to silence Sugar forever. When tragedy strikes and life-changing events are set into motion, Sugar soon realizes that fast money gets you nowhere fast.

Great Listen

This was a really good book. I was really impressed with the ending and how the couple came out on top with a legitimate life, family & career.

Lack Luster Narration

Storyline was wonderful and worth the climb. The narrator’s voice was unconvincing. However after the 3rd chapter you will have acclimated to her voice enough to enjoy the remainder of the book.

Sugar Sugar

I absolutely love this book. sugar dealt with a lot of things throughout but I'm glad she was able to come out on top. she went through so many different relationship but in the end she was able to really enjoy the one that she wanted when it was all said and done.

wasn't a big fan

I wasn't a fan of this book. the storyline was a bit ridiculous in my opinion, however it did help me pass the time while at work, just wouldn't recommend this one to anyone.

Pretty good read

This was a good book. I won't lie I was starting to get mad at Sugar for all the stupid stuff she was doing and was able to predict some of the things that happened. But with an upbringing like hers I kinda understood. I was caught off guard by some of the things that happened as well tho. I can say I was intrigued throughout this whole book

Ida Belle!

The narrator Ida Belle brings this book to life! The main character, Sugar is very naïve and her decision making skills shows this! What Ida does is bring a voice and emotion to this poor young lady. It’s an awesome book.
