Just wow! Really slow burn, super slow - which is frustrating, but otherwise the Irish/Russian war is super exciting, especially at the end (on the edge of your seat exciting!!) so expect a cliffy.., but there’s a book two so obviously! But there’s a lot of back and forth with Dimitri and his attitude. Not even his emotions, just how he acts towards Wren! He’s definitely a dark anti hero! The whole setup is crazy!! So there’s a whole lotta wow! going on in this book and I bought book 2 before this one was even finished!

I really enjoyed the story. I was expecting it to be a bit cheesy, but it was excellent. It’s not the same old trope of mafia guy knocks up a chick in a one night stand, and the trauma the characters deal with is more believable.

OMG This book had me on a total choke hold. the push and pull between them had me anticipate every chapter. The heroin very feisty which I like. Always challenging him. Spicy scenes yet not smutty, well perfected. I really enjoyed this book. definitely recommend.
