Intriguing - pulls you along

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, and I have. It starts with a mystery and slowly pulls a story - a Tapestry

What other book might you compare Tapestry to and why?

DARK CELEBRATION by C Feehan. Several stories come together to make one picture

Which character – as performed by Phil Gigante and Chloe Campbell – was your favorite?

I read (listened) to this book months ago, but I recall a male who was going to steal the tapestry. His characteristics still attract me - even if I can't remember his name.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Yse - and a book I WILL listen to again...the end draws you back to the beginning

Good listen

Not one of the best, but certainly not the worst. Stories were imaginative and worth the listen. Narrations were good. Good escape selection.

Interesting romance collection

I'm a big fan of Lynn Kurland & Karen Marie Moning. Their stories are enjoyable, engaging & creative. Narration is great. Perhaps if you're a fan of Sherriyn Kenyon or Madeline Hunter, you will enjoy their stories as well. I did not.

Great Anthology

I’m glad to see this as an audible download, and part of the Audible Escape program. This has only been available as a CD box set through the library. This is a collection of historical romance stories. This includes the following stories: To Kiss in the Shadows by Lynn Kurland An Interrupted Tapestry by Madeline Hunter Into the Dreaming by Karen Marie Moning Dragonswan by Sherrilyn Kenyon I listened to this through Audible Escape.

Two out of four is not bad.

I loved Sherrilyn Kenyons and Karen Marie Moning stories, but the other two kinda sucked.

Chapters for four stories

I came for the first Sherrilyn Kenyon story about Were-Hunters, which involves a tapestry. I'm glad I did, although I am admittedly obsessive :) Chloe read the first three stories, and Phil the last. They do not interact. I liked all four stories. The last is the strongest, in terms of literature. I can see why these authors have followings. Negative reviews for individual stories seem to correlate to which have descriptions of sex (versus it being implied).

Chapters appear numbered consecutively 1 through 43, and correspond to the stories within as:
Ch 1 - 9, To Kiss in the Shadows by Lynn Kurland;
Ch 10 - 18, An Interrupted Tapestry by Madeline Hunter;
Ch 19 - 27, Dragonswan by Sherrilyn Kenyon;
Ch 28 - 43, Into the Dreaming by Karen Marie Moning

Overall Review

Overall it was pretty good. I'm not disappointed in the purchase. I really enjoyed three of the books to I did not care for as much.
