About this listen

Pull up a chair. And prepare for a scare....

An artist struggles to hold on to her soul as she feverishly completes a deadly masterpiece. The death of a movie producer unleashes an ancient reel of film with a dark secret worth killing for. And a woman gets the scare of her life as strange intruders break into her home....

Welcome back to Hannigan’s, the tavern of a thousand tales. In this cozy neighborhood pub, everyone has a story to tell. But those stories don’t always have a happy ending.

As you sip your drink and listen to another nightmarish tale, you slowly realize the crowd around you has changed.

Their whispers and murmurs become growls and snorts. And as the room grows darker, their eyes start to glow.

Claws and fangs gnash in the shadows, hungry for blood.

It’s closing time.

And it looks like the last drink is on you….

Not bad for what it is

The stories were decent there are a few that I would have liked to have been fleshed out more. It did spur me to look up the authors and see their other works.

I enjoyed listening

Like the first volume these stories were just as good and had me even turning the lights on at night, while listening and the words echoing through the house ,really does give you the Willy’s . I really enjoyed each one and the narrator does an excellent job with the characters from each story breathing life into them.

Good Diverse Shorts

I absolutely love this book, visit Hannigan’s the tavern, has some great creepy/scary shorts and good authors and loved all 12 of them but do have a few favorites such as Countdown, Drowned Souls, Bloodshed Boulevard never mind they are all good and different and something for everyone. Recommend if you enjoy short creepy/scary stories with good narration.

Little tempting bites of horror.

I love short stories, because you get lots of variety. I also love short stories that are in parts, like some of the ones in this series. It’s like stretching out what would normally be something that would otherwise end too soon. I like the style of this particular series! I highly recommend these books!

Surprisingly scary stories

It’s hard to scare me, but these stories are some of the best I heard. I think under the pier was my favorite! The way Thom Bowers reads the stories really gives it something extra. Highly recommend.

Great listen

Each story gives you its own unique burst of horror. Each story easily holds its own against the others making a great montage of story telling. I look forward to the next volume.
