About this listen

Popular Lost Cities author David Hatcher Childress takes us into the amazing world of ancient technology, from computers in antiquity to the flying machines of the gods. Childress looks at the technology that was allegedly used in Atlantis and the theory that the Great Pyramid of Egypt was originally a gigantic power station.

He examines tales of ancient flight and the technology that it involved; how the ancients used electricity; megalithic building techniques; the use of crystal lenses and the fire from the gods; evidence of various high tech weapons in the past, including atomic weapons; ancient metallurgy and heavy machinery; the role of modern inventors such as Nikola Tesla in bringing ancient technology back into modern use; impossible artifacts; and more.

Perfectly put together

Loved it, just enough info went into the evidence without rambling &/or over speculation to make nonexistent connections for over the top claims, and multiple view points are given on most topics to allow the reader the opportunity to form their own opinions.

So interesting, couldn’t stop listening

I already love the show ancient aliens, which is how I found David Childress and this book. This went way beyond anything I’ve seen watching history channel. If you love alternative theories and learning about possibilities and facts outside of mainstream textbook history, you’ll love this. I hope someday David Childress narrates one of his books himself.

The world's history has so many wholes.

The author does a great job exploring and covering in considerable details so many chapters of the world's history that is either ignored or spurned by the majority of many experts because it differs greatly from the established histories. If you listen to this interesting book, a wide swath of historical mysteries will be uncovered. Most of them are ridiculed or ignored because they don't fit the worldwide historical narratives that usually ignore numerous facts that refute them. A very interesting listen to be sure.

Interesting listen

It was an interesting and entertaining listen. For me, maybe a bit too long. I liked the narrator.

THIS IS GOOD!!

Ya totally amazing. The author is a book worm as well sighting many more things to check out. Very happy. Even if 10% was real it will still blow your mind but I am sure much more is real than that.

Good ideas. Just need to fleshed out more.

The narrator is bad. Good ideas, good theories, just need more sources to back the claims. Overall, enjoyable to listen in the background while coding or washing dishes.

Must Read

If you have a problem with religion and archeologists making unfounded, biased conclusions about inexplicable ancient construction, read this book. It offers well thought out, reasonable arguments for alternate explanations for the building and purposes of ancient structures. Awesome book!!!
