Editorial reviews
Stephen King, the beloved grandmaster of American horror fiction and a thoughtful pop culture critic and writing theorist to boot, stars in this episode of Symphony Space’s Thalia Book Club series, specifically discussing his 2006 release Lisey’s Story. Author and journalist John Connolly leads an illuminating question-and-answer session with King, who, having written over 40 published novels, is a well-practiced and easy speaker on the subject of writing, and brings a droll, dark humor to this audio event which will appeal even to the least horrifically-minded listener. Actress Maria Tucci also reads an excerpt from Lisey’s Story, which King himself considers to be the best of all his books.

Not what I thought

He has long been one of my very favorites and I have read over half of the books he has written.
Sadly...to me...NO MORE. What gives a famous personality the right to completely go off the subject of his book to intentionally insult the president of the USA in an effort to influence others towards his political views? I am gravely dissapointed and will no longer read or listen to Mr. King. I know he will not be affected by this...My son served in Irag while Mr. King was tucked safely in his tower typing away.
His books are not political ...so why interject insults.... Sorry Mr. King.....Carolann Moore
Dissapointment
