About this listen

Can God bring beauty from tragedy?

Arianna Tate has a simple and fulfilling life - until four days before Christmas when her young son is kidnapped. For two decades, she grieves the loss of Chase and struggles with her marriage to her husband Alan.

Meanwhile, Lydia Feller mourns the death of her estranged sister, who spent years living on the streets with mental illness and substance abuse. Lydia adopts the boy who she believes was her sister’s son and raises him in a happy, stable home with her husband Daniel and their four children.

Until 20 years later, when both women’s worlds collide...

The 20th Christmas is a story of faith that good will come and of overcoming obstacles from a tragedy of loss. The story is beautifully written! I cried and smiled along with the characters as the story unfolded. It is a page turner as it demonstrates how love, hope, and determination can prevail when life brings unexpectedness. The narrator does a beautiful job of portraying the characters’ feelings and motivations through the speaking of the dialogue. I highly recommend this story on audible!
