Publisher's summary

"I'll do anything to make sure she's safe. Even from me."

Naomi: All my life, I've been protected. First by my older brother, and now by a crew of women on a strange alien planet who insist on protecting my virtue. Who cares about virtue? I have to make the most of this situation, and if that means shacking up with a big blue guy, I'm not opposed. So when I find that the very alien who I'm convinced is my mate has gone off on a reckless mission, I risk it all to bring him back myself.

Gar: Anger doesn't even begin to describe how I feel when a fragile female puts herself in harm's way for me. And not just any female—of course she's the one I can't resist. But I don't deserve her, and I'll never bind her to my doomed destiny. Except now she's in danger, and if it's the last thing I do in my cursed life, I'll make sure she's safe. Even from me.

Contains mature themes.

Gar & Naomi

Looking forward to the rest of the series. The books are so well written. The narrators sounded oddly like pixies but the story was still interesting.

Amazing

Another amazing book for this series! Can't wait for the next book! Each book is standalone but is easy to follow in any order! New favorite author!

Another banger!

I just can't seem to get enough of this series! I eagerly awaited this book release and it did not disappoint. I was drawn back into the story instantly and was rooting for these two the whole way through. ❤️

Love to get into Gar’s head

This is my least favorite book in the series, but Naomi reminds me of someone I don’t like LOL!
Heather and Jeffrey are amazing and both do a fantastic job narrating!

Ok

Storyline was okay but Heather has such a weird voice that it takes away from the story; she sounds like a munchkin. Jeffrey was the saving grace that kept me listening. Good thing it’s a short story. Please use another female narrator for future books. There are lots of excellent ones to chose from.

The Aliens Savior

📚-⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
🥵-🌶️🌶️🌶️

There was just the perfect amount of romance, action and story. I didn’t get bored or skip ahead, I enjoyed the Instalove and characters adaptation. This was a first for me by this author and I am so happy the series is currently available in the catalog for free so I can listen to them all. This series kind of reminds me of IPB but with Aliens on bikes in a tropical green planet. Cinnamon roll, 7 ft tall blue but scaled aliens with horns and tails but with lots of piercings. No females (taken out by virus or sabotage from another race)

Naomi and Gar are also a favorite couple of mine. Our poor tortured soul MMC Gar was all his broodiness and anger. It’s perfect his aura is a flame and Naomi is water. She douses the anger rising in him. Such an adorable couple who deserved a HeA

🔥- V1rg1n MMC and FMC
👍🏻- Height difference
⬇️ Pierced 🍆 and 👅 MMC
💘 - Soul Mates (Kora Eternal 🫀)
🦋- Touch or 👀 at him/her and ⚰️

The narration was really great. I enjoy narration by Jeffrey Kafer and the raspy voice of Heather Costa.

Needed more meat on these bones

As much as I can forgive lightning fast romance in these popcorn listens, I still need some character and chemistry development. I got a little bit about Gar from the previous books, and from his having visions foretelling a heroic death, but I felt like I didn’t know anything about Naomi except that she’s never been with a man. There’s more detail in the fight scenes than in their relationship. Also, the dialogue between the two of them felt like it could have belonged to any of the previous couples. All of which made this cookie cutter romance rather forgettable. Not awful, just okay.

It's ok just not great

The story is simple and does contain the virgin trope which I absolutely despise. I really wish authors would just give women a bit more credit. I'll not jump on a soapbox here, but any author that has an adult woman character who has at the very least self pleasured (implied or not) shouldn't need the PIV bleed scene. I hope the trope dies this decade.

Aside from that the performance wasn't the best and the story was a bit repetitive for how short it was overall. I would recommend it if you are this far into the series as it does move the world building forward in a significant way.

This has nothing to do with the book, but I want to call out Audible and/or the publisher. This audiobook took way too long to come out. If I had given up thinking the rest would release and this goes for some other series I'm following. At this point, I'm not going to wait on the rest of the series to be available on Audible and instead read the full collection on Kindle Unlimited.
