Publisher's summary

The Angel Experiment: A Maximum Ride Novel: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience!

Max soars above the world...but in James Patterson's thrilling adventure, fantasy can come crashing down to reveal the nightmares of the Angel Experiment.

Maximum Ride and her "flock" - Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman, and Angel - are just like ordinary kids, only they have wings and can fly. It may seem like a dream come true to some, but their lives can morph into a living nightmare at any time.

Angel, the youngest member of the flock, is kidnapped and taken back to the "School" where she and the others were experimented on by a crew of whack jobs. Her friends brave a journey to blazing-hot Death Valley, CA, to save Angel, but soon enough, they find themselves in yet another nightmare: fighting off the half-human, half-wolf "Erasers" in New York City. Whether in the treetops of Central Park or in the bowels of the Manhattan subway system, Max and her adopted family take the ride of their lives.

Along the way, Max discovers that her purpose is to save the world. But can she?

Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

A really great book

A wonderful book that I found to be developmental and maturative for a young man coming of age such as myself. I found this book incredibly relatable to me and my daily habits and I very much have identification with all of the characters alpha qualities and it maturates and improves my type-A personality. I further highly recommend this book.

I could do without the constant music

It was a good book! I’m just very disappointed the entire series isn’t on audible. Makes me feel like a waisted my time

Another great story

The writing is, of course, excellent, with multiple story lines woven seamlessly together. I do prefer women narrators as I experience, they can reach different pitches without sounding silly. The musical undertones add to the experience.

Amazing

Still just as amazing as it was when I read it when I was in high school. Now as an adult it was like hearing the story all over again.

Not worth the credit

He should stick to mystery novels and stay away from sci-fi. Also, the narrator was terrible.
