About this listen

Shirley Jump dishes up a red-hot romance in the third installment of her Sweet and Savory Romances series. Exotic food and a no-strings-attached hunk top Meredith Shordon's "I-Want" list when she leaves her life behind in Indiana and heads for Boston to experience big city life. At the top of her list? Losing her virginity to Mr. Right Now, without getting tangled up with Mr. Right. Reformed party animal Travis Campbell won't be tempted - until he meets the determined Indiana farm girl and realizes taking a bite of temptation only leaves him wanting more. He's just sworn off women for 30 days, but Meredith is doing her best to tempt him into her bed, before he captures her heart.

Special bonus material: Recipes written by the characters inside! The original version of this book was published in 2005, and titled as The Angel Craved Lobster.

This series is a delight!

With characters and an environment you come to know and love. With added stories with people you meet along the way. The narrator has a pleasing and pretty versatile voice. You get sucked in wondering what will happen next, along with humor and romance.

The best yet

Almost a perfect love story. A little corny with the accents but enjoyable start to finish. Great concept for the resolution of the plot twists. Altogether the best I have heard on audible

I enjoyed the story

I know there are a couple bad reviews but for me personally, I enjoyed the story. If you liked the two books prior in this series I think you’ll like this one as well.

Haven't read anything more annoying in my life

The heroine is a simple minded, stupid imbecile. No matter how innocent and country someone is, it is impossible to be as stupid for an intelligent grown woman. She is 27 years old, yet most of the time not able to do one right thing, stand up for herself, or take care of herself. Then came her redneck brothers without an ounce of brain cells for some "good natured assault".I would have reported them in a heartbeat if I were the hero. BTW family, her mother was the other annoying idiot. And don't get me started on him. Then with the unnecessary, out of the blue milk drama. Let's not even think about the boring writing style (or it just might have been too long). At least the narrator was talented.

Farm Doesn’t Mean Stupid

I enjoyed almost everything about this book except the portrayal of the Indiana family. First of all people from Indiana do not sound like hicks and just because you grow up on a farm or in the south doesn’t mean that you’re stupid.

What a waste of time

The first 2 in this series were kind of sweet and cute. This one is a big hot mess and so wrong on so many levels. An insane overprotective mother who is trying to force her daughter into a marriage she wants no part of. Brothers who are such big wusses that they do each and every thing their overbearing mother makes them do up to and including kidnapping. They chase their sister down to "the big bad city were people have no morals".Meredith is a pitiful pathetic excuse of an adult and I can honestly say I am was embarrassed for her as each minute passed by. Seriously, this is drivel and the worst part is I will never get the few hours I wasted back. There is not a single person in this story that has even 1 redeemable quality. I cannot state strongly enough that this book is a complete and total waste of your time whether in print or on audio. I can honestly say that I hated each and every one of them and they should all be committed to a mental institution or at the very least sent to jail for the litany of felonies committed. Run, run run from this title
