So many things I did not know

It is so much better to be prepared when applying for college. There's a saying that you don't know what you don't know. This covered everything I wanted to know and then some. I particularly liked the part where we are advised to not bring our parents. They need to get to know us as individuals. This was well thought out and very helpful in a practical way. Also, learning the 11 things to avoid could make the difference between being admitted and not being admitted to college. But more than anything else this gives us the confidence to know what to expect and how to conduct ourselves. This is a very helpful book.

Very, very helpful

The first thing that caught my eye about this book was the chapter titles. I knew if nothing else, I would enjoy the book. Turns out I both enjoyed it and found it helpful. My daughter will be applying for college in a year. Needless to say, we have started preparing and when that topic comes up, you never know what mood she'll be in. Listening to this book together gave us some peace knowing that the application process maybe rigorous, but it doesn't have to suck the life out of you. Thank you so much for this book.

Love it!

Excellent resource! I got it for a relative who is moving on to college in the near future. I would have loved to have this when I was still in high school and now I see that it should be sold in every school for their students to be well informed! It really goes in-depth on many topics a college student will face such as test preparations, applications, even finances. The narration was done well and clearly presents the content in a good pace so it is simple to follow along to. Highly recommended to future high school graduates to expect challenges and cope with the stress of college. 5 stars!

i like listening to this book, it is a plethora of great information, i learnt a complete breakdown of the process of applying to colleges including prepare for interviews, work with counselors, and how to present yourself with confidence.
the one i am most interested in the part on how to write an essay that helps you stand out from the crowd, i need that part very much, especially that it provides tips and tricks to format and edit it like a pro. very helpful.

i am surprised to see that there are content on the financial part, it teaches you how you can finance your college tuition through financial aid, grants, loans, i am not a rich kid, so i need that part very much too.
