Publisher's summary

How much are you willing to sacrifice to make your way back home?

Tempest did what no one thought was possible; he closed the portals from an unknown plane that threatened all of Iðna. However, the process of using blood magic leaves him completely exhausted, unable to prevent himself from being sucked into the resulting implosion that occurs. In a last-ditch effort to save him, Queen Kasta conjures her shadow magic to prevent his isolation. In doing so, Kasta finds herself captured by mysterious foes.

Behind enemy lines and with his magic being suppressed, Tempest has to invent creative solutions to save his ally and make their way back home. He must best the remaining members of the Seven, secure magical artifacts, and accept newfound revelations into his creation that turn his world upside down.

Although the path ahead challenges his resolve, Tempest surrounds himself with new allies who help him along his journey in an effort to escape from Chernobog.

This book contains harem elements and explicit content.

Great listen. Couldn't stop it till the end.

I loved the story in this one. Great read by Rebecca and honestly was so into it, I forgot the time.

The story isn't fast, and it's got a good pace, but also hated that it ended, even though I was exhausted.

Great story but need more ziggs

The story is great as a whole. My only gripe is that the protagonist is an idiot. He can supposedly remember everything he is ever told but he cannot put together context clues. I found ziggs to be a great character that could have been used more. Her few scenes were great but I wish she was used more as a comedic element. And what's funny is that when she showed up to save the day I knew it was her. I was like ziggs is back. In all the series is really really good I enjoyed every minute of it.

End to another series.

Overall great series and a great way to transition to the "Romp across" podcast.
I kinda wish we could have seen more of the battle between the Aspect and the Dragon Queen or even the evil god.

However, even without that this part of the series was quite enjoyable to listen to. It was good to see one of the races explained and given more depth. Especially since the only thing we knew of them beforehand was that they were sacrificed for the blood rituals to open portals.

Holy moly!!!

This was so freaking good I’m gushing like a crazy person right now. The story is only getting better with every book. Ajax Lygan has rapidly become one of my favorite authors ever. Rebecca woods is absolutely amazing, her range and vocal quality are as good or better than anyone else out there. She is a absolute rockstar! I can’t wait to read more!!!!!!

Powerful protagonist?

book 1 doesn't know how to use powers.
book 2 powers turned off.
book 3 powers turned off again.
Just can't bring myself to bother with a book 4.
Don't see the point in a protagonist with powers that are constantly being turned off at authors whim. Gets old. All the talk about how powerful he is, yet his powers are constantly turned off and unusable.
Book 1 was good, but the repetition of turning his supposedly God given powers off is beyond old by book 3.
Will not be purchasing book 4 because of the plot armor excuses. Had hoped book 3 would be better but was disappointed.
