good use of free time

I came into it not knowing what to expect. but instantly Rebecca draws you in with her awesome portrayal and her different voices which really helped me keep track of the characters. there were a few parts to this I wasn't expecting, I'm not sure if it said anywhere about any x rated narrative but my imagination was really pushed to its limits when she would describe the moments of passion. I will be looking for more immediately. all in all very good 49 spare hours used well.

The voice compensated for the story

The story overall was enjoyable but felt very anti climactic at the end. Elements were used quite well but felt like it was extended for literally no reason. The voice acting was cringy when trying to immitate numerous personalities from one being/source.

Epic

For someone who recently got into audiobooks this series checks all the boxes for me. I felt so many emotions when listening from happiness to pure sadness of how well the characters, writing and world building. The characters are genuinely well written and there are realistic steaks that makes you wonder if they MC and team will win. There characters who will die that will hit you in gut. But it’s all natural not forced. Hell they is two characters that tempest sets up together as a couple.
It talks about many topics, introducing various organic elements to improve the story. You get to see how much characters can change from their best to their absolute worst and vice versa. This being caused from the very choices the character(s) make and it being understandable ones if you were in those situation possibly making the same or similar mistakes. Even going as far as to show how time affects everyone big or small.

Finally the ending was very heartfelt, I was kinda in tears cause sadly every good story has to have end. And well I reached it. Amazing beyond words is what I have to say. It’s a great recommendation and now I want to see the other works the author has written.

The Aspect

Outstanding listen great story. Rebecca Woods is most outstanding, she makes the characters come to life. She also makes the book that much better.

13 chapters in

13 out 30 chapters of book 1, and I really don't care about the MC anymore. He just kinda there. It's more like he is a MacGuffin, not an important character. His first harem member just disappears from the book so far, the orc hasn't put out and instead we have to deal with her exe (who also causes issues). In fact, I feel like the story will be more about everyone else and not the MC.

Good story

It's a really good story. It's just a little too sappy for my taste.

I don't know what everyone is complaining about.

It makes me wonder if those of us that indulge in this particular interest do so about of deep seeded desire to be the protagonist or to enjoy a good story. If you are looking for yet another typical, uninspired, Gary Stu worl of ego stroking fiction. I regret to inform you that this will disappoint you.

It is a good story and it contains non traditional relationships in a fantasyy environment. It lends itself to high fantasy more than anything.

Rebecca Woods was fantastic!!

Story was great. Yes some of the other reviews attacking the MC are quite harsh but I see it as the Ajax trying to make him seem more human. The show was absolutely Stolen though by Rebecca Woods Phenomenal performance! She narrates, sings, and brings this story to life! I would absolutely recommend this book to everyone who likes the Fantasy genre.
