Worth listening

When I saw how thick the physical book was and how expensive in my country due to weak currency, I decided to purchase the audio version using the audible credit. I was slightly disappointed that the narrator is not the author himself.

However after listening the entire audiobook, I didn’t regret purchasing the audio version. I don’t usually write reviews but this book is so good I think all Muslims should get this. The book provided deep insights on challenges living in hustle culture and how hustle culture has misled, trapped and skewed minds of modern Muslims to abandon our true worldview and values based on prophetic teachings. I’m planning to relisten to it a few times.

I might even consider buying the physical book in the future once I can afford it
. Jazallahukhairan to Mohammed Faris for writing an excellent book.

Insightful

This book is a refreshing and insightful exploration of productivity through the lens of Islamic principles. As someone always on the lookout for ways to enhance productivity and bring more meaning to my daily life, this book struck a resonant chord.

Faris takes the concept of "barakah" – loosely translated as "blessing" or "divine abundance" – and masterfully applies it to modern productivity strategies. He intertwines spiritual principles with practical advice, offering a holistic approach that goes beyond the conventional tips found in most productivity books. This integration of faith and efficiency is not only unique but also deeply enriching for readers who seek a more purposeful life.

I find the book to be well-organized and divided into clear sections, making it easy to follow. Each chapter builds on the previous one, gradually guiding the reader through the process of understanding and implementing the Barakah Effect. Faris’s writing style is engaging and accessible, making complex concepts easy to grasp. His use of personal anecdotes and real-life examples adds authenticity and relatability to his guidance.

One of the most valuable aspects of “The Barakah Effect” is its practicality. Faris doesn’t just present theoretical ideas; he provides concrete steps and exercises to help readers apply the principles to their lives. The focus on daily habits, time management, and personal growth through a spiritual framework is both inspiring and actionable. I found the sections on prioritizing tasks based on their spiritual and worldly significance particularly enlightening.

Listening to “The Barakah Effect” has had a profound impact on my approach to productivity. It has encouraged me to rethink my goals and align them with a higher purpose. The emphasis on intention and sincerity in every action has transformed my perspective on work and personal development.

“The Barakah Effect” is a must-read for anyone looking to infuse their productivity with meaning and spirituality. It’s an empowering guide that bridges the gap between faith and efficiency, offering a pathway to a more balanced and blessed life. Whether you are seeking to enhance your personal productivity or simply looking for a deeper sense of purpose, this book is a valuable resource that will leave a lasting impact.
