About this listen

Best-selling co-author of the Left Behind® series Tim LaHaye collaborates with novelist and scriptwriter Gregory S. Dinallo to craft an inspiring portrayal of friendship and forgiveness.

Despite the Great Depression's dampening effects, the friendly citizens of Newbury, a small New England hamlet, believe better days are near. And gifted photographer Dylan Cooper believes the town's quaint charm and snowy surroundings will provide the perfect setting for history's greatest Christmas picture.

Local printer Joe Clements and his pregnant wife Alicia are glad to help him find just the right spot. But when Dylan and Joe quarrel, a moving Christmas Eve service gently reminds everyone of the greatest gift of all.

This wasn’t the absolute best story live heard, but still good. I liked the narrator.

The story takes getting into, but the ending is satisfying. The narrator is superb, especially for the characters. The story describes relationships and loving someone unconditionally.

“New England Christmas”

Narration performance was one of the best I’ve ever heard. The characters were endearing and very fully developed. The story was sweet, and it had an ending. A definite ending, but one that makes me wish for a second book! In a good way. I love these short little stories. If you liked this one at all, make sure you listen to the book called The Hirelings! This one five star and that one is six.

Very good
