About this listen

Ever thought about visiting Yellowstone, the world’s first national park? Be sure to listen to these stories before you go, especially if you want to see the hidden side of the park. Or better yet, listen to them at night by headlamp while camped in one of the park’s beautiful campgrounds, listening to wolves howling in the distance - and are you sure it’s really wolves?

Fly-fishing guide Rusty Wilson, known as the world's greatest Bigfoot story teller, has spent years collecting these tales from his clients around the campfire, stories guaranteed to make sure you won‘t want to go out after dark.

Come hear about a most unusual occupation in Yellowstone’s harsh winters; join an ambitious couple who decide to start a bed and breakfast in the park only to discover they’re not particularly wanted; go along on a fantastic vision quest deep in the heart of Yellowstone’s highest mountains; come soak in the eerie boiling river at night; ride along with a snowplow driver for a most unique experience on Yellowstone’s wintry roads; witness a Bigfoot tragedy in the making near Old Faithful; experience strange inexplicable events while hiking in the backcountry; help a wildlife biologist with a most unusual and hair-raising task; then hear about the strange Yellowstone fog and the secrets it holds.

But be sure you’re not alone in the woods while reading these stories, and whatever you do, don’t go hiking by yourself! Another great book from Rusty Wilson, Bigfoot expert and storyteller - tales for both the Bigfoot believer and those who just enjoy a good story.

Well done

The encounters are consistent with personal emails I have heard read by Steve Isdahl on his how to hunt YouTube channel. This book is well written and narration is excellent.

Good Storytelling

Simple tales well constructed and performed by a master storyteller, such as we might have heard around campfires long ago-

I found this to be very intriguing and interesting

Being a believer in the subject of the rude dude I found this read very intriguing. Having met many individuals who have had their own personal experiences I find this particular style of storytelling to be a bit more on the embellishing side. However that makes for the book to be much more entertaining. I tend to drop off when the subject turns from scientific to supernatural, although there are many similarities in what people call supernatural. I haven't yet figured out if that is just an individual's way of explaining something that they don't logically understand or what. Anyway, the narration was great and the stories were believable to some extent.

Stories of Bigfoot in the Yellowstone Area

Really enjoyed these stories, told with honest frankness. I've been to the Yellowstone Park several times and know a lot of the locations mentioned. This is worth the money!

Bigfoot in Yellowstone

This was another fantastic book from Rusty Wilson. It was a pleasant surprise, since I was not expecting another Bigfoot book after his other recent publication, the Creature of Lituya Bay. This collection of Bigfoot tales centers on Yellowstone Park, which is so large any number of creatures can live there and not be seen by the general public, since many people don't visit large areas of the park. The rangers do know what goes on but don't tell the public, as you will learn from several stories within. Rusty's stories are more than "I saw one cross the road." He is a masterful storyteller and I don't doubt you will be thrilled and spooked by the stories within. Do note that two previously published tales are included because they took place in Yellowstone, including one of the scariest I've ever read. Just click download if you have Kindle Unlimited or buy, Rusty's books are always a cut above. If you are new, be sure to check out his Bigfoot Campfire Stories series for excellent Bigfoot tales you won't find anywhere else. Veteran narrator Richard Henzel brilliantly brings these tales to life for the audiobook. He has a natural storyteller voice, that perfectly matches Rusty’s books.

LOVED EVERY CAMPFIRE STORY IN THIS BOOK!

As a kid in the 70's I became obsessed with Bigfoot. My dad would tell me stories when we would go camping and it would scare the pants off of me. These are such fond memories for me. This book was perfect, so thank you for this Rusty Wilson and thank you Richard Henzel for adding a perfect voice to this book.

Entertaining

My family listened to this on our way to Yellowstone. We laughed through a lot of the stories but really enjoyed it! The narrator has a kind of old fashioned, slow, railroad operator voice which we thought added to the stories. This is a slow paced, campfire story style book best for bigger kids and grown ups :)

Terrible reader

This was one of my favorite Rusty Wilson Bigfoot books, so I used a credit to buy the Audible book. Big mistake! The stories are so good, but the reader is horrible. He puts pauses where there shouldn't be any, he overly-annunciates many words. It's choppy, and doesn't flow smoothly. He is just over all hard to listen to. I wish I could get that credit back!
