Publisher's summary

A mysterious cave contains a strange book that leads to a quest with an unusual and scary companion. The stakes? An entire species. "It suddenly struck me what an incongruous team we were - a giant hairy Bigfoot, a somewhat broken-down scraggly human, and a small scruffy dog. I was pretty sure the Canadian Border Patrol had never seen the likes of us - and I hoped they never would." Rusty Wilson is known as the world's greatest Bigfoot storyteller. Join him for a journey you may never forget!

Very Far Fetched!!

I normally love all of Rusty Wilson's books, however the Bigfoot runes story comes off very far fetched. Someone needs to lay of of the Whiskey!!

An Adventure on the Run with Bigfoot!

Unlike most of Rusty's books, this is not a collection of Bigfoot encounters, but one story. The first part was actually the last story in his first book, "Rusty Wilson's Campfire Stories." While you don't necessarily need to review that story, it does give this book a great introduction, even though there is a recap here. Some people have had difficulty with this story because they cannot comprehend that we may not be the only ones on this planet. As a fan of Star Trek, Star Wars, Dr. Who and others, I believe it is a beautiful story of one man's redemption through encounters with another species. They both learn about each other and what friendship truly means. I think the BFRO should study this book to better learn how to interact with the species. This is an exciting adventure story that includes fascinating history and culture noted in this book. I hope we can show respect for the species. I would loved to have met Happy and Packy. It reminds me of an older film called Enemy Mine where two different species in outer space learned to trust each other. A wonderful story with twists and turns that just may touch your heart. Rusty tells it beautifully as always and Richard Henzel does a superb job enthralling us with this tale. Open your mind and heart and go along for the ride!

Good story but take with a grain of salt

Kinda spoilers... But not really just a few references...

It's a good story but I'm kinda disappointed in Rusty, I'm a adamant believer in Sasquatch and know about his existence and have a very open mind but this crosses the line a bit.

As to the conclusion he is wrong cause we are ever advancing in our knowledge and understanding of our world and helping control the info as the truth comes out and use it to educate the public as much as possible is the way we should go about it so people learn to accept these amazing creatures and learn to let them be and live in peace in there own way as we expect others to do for us. Not to just I naively ignore the issue of "the wider world" finding out and hope it turns out for the best when it dose. You/he supposedly had a INVALUABLE piece of world history and should have been used to educate not as fire starter (read the book and you'll know what I mean) and what was left of the book (the picture/drawing) should be dated to validate the intelligence and authenticity of there cultural heritage.

The Book of love from the nation of BIGFOOT

The book was a blessing and eye opening to all that read it. May it's love of family and all races and nations last forever in love.

Excellent Story Packed with Adventure

Is it true? I vote no. It is, however, one of the most entertaining books I've read in months of any genre, let alone cryptid genre. Spooky, exciting, and emotional. Narration is good. Well done.

Best book ever

It’s not often I write a review but I believe this deserves one. This book engages you right from the get go. I have now listened to it at least 15 times and have never gotten bored. As a Bigfoot believer I truly think everyone can glean insight to the Bigfoot nation through this book. As I for one, do believe this to be true and accurate. As they say, “Truth is often stranger than fiction!”
Thank you Rusty for bringing this story to our homes and heart. I know I would love to visit this B and B up in Canada. Stay there, if not to just see the picture of Hap’s “Greats” which sits above the hearth! Wow!
You won’t go wrong with this book or any other of Rusty Wilson’s work!!!
