Marshall Seaver and Cooper Foley have been friends through life - and death. Now the ethereal pathway between realms, known as the Morpheus Road, is in danger of being destroyed by the vengeful spirit who has become their nemesis: the ancient warrior called Damon. The worlds of the living and the dead are about to collide, forcing Marshall to make a brave and shocking decision as the two friends navigate a perilous trail that leads to a frightening realization: Damon isn’t their only enemy. Number one bestselling author and master of suspense D. J. MacHale concludes the thrilling Morpheus Road trilogy with an epic story packed with nonstop twists and breathtaking surprises in this finale to his pulse-pounding, interdimensional adventure.

**Spoiler***
I just didn't like the whole fact that the characters did the whole, "The enemy of my enemy" cliche. It especially didn't work well for me because of what Damon had done and they (Marsh and Coop) were willing to forgive and forget even though he was the one that started everything in the first place. I'd just feel like it would be difficult to forgive a guy who killed your best friend and your mother and terrorized you. I'm at least glad though that Marsh and Damon didn't save the day and at the end become pals like other stories i've seen, read, or heard.
**End Spoiler**
I would recommend this book to anyone who has read The Black to finish the trilogy. Overall though, I thought the previous two books were stronger than this one and definitely were more gripping (especially The Light).
Decent/Good book, disappointed in the series...

I thought it got a bit redundant I looked the first one and most of the 2nd one better. I had hoped it would have been less battling and more people stuff.ending dragged on
