Story
There's a place beyond this world, beyond the land of the living, where ghosts go to write their unfinished stories - stories that ended too soon. It's a place for unexplained phenomena: mysteries that have never been solved, spirits that have never been laid to rest. And there's only one way in or out. It's called the Library, and you can get there with a special key. But beware! Don't start a story you can't finish. Because in this library, the stories you can't finish just might finish you.

Decent/Good book, disappointed in the series...
The Blood had a decent/good story and ending to the series. The narrator did a nice job in the acting except for maybe the voice of Sydney here and there but not a big deal... Damon and Press I would say were his highlight voices. The only thing I'm disappointed in with the Trilogy is that The Light was extremely good but they didn't keep the horror. It made sense as to why MacHale didn't but when I first started reading The Light, I thought it was going to be a horror trilogy. Again the story wasn't that bad though, the only thing that bothered me and this is where a spoiler begins...
**Spoiler***
I just didn't like the whole fact that the characters did the whole, "The enemy of my enemy" cliche. It especially didn't work well for me because of what Damon had done and they (Marsh and Coop) were willing to forgive and forget even though he was the one that started everything in the first place. I'd just feel like it would be difficult to forgive a guy who killed your best friend and your mother and terrorized you. I'm at least glad though that Marsh and Damon didn't save the day and at the end become pals like other stories i've seen, read, or heard.
**End Spoiler**
I would recommend this book to anyone who has read The Black to finish the trilogy. Overall though, I thought the previous two books were stronger than this one and definitely were more gripping (especially The Light).

I thought it got a bit redundant I looked the first one and most of the 2nd one better. I had hoped it would have been less battling and more people stuff.
