About this listen

The Book of the Law by Aleister Crowley is the foundational text of Thelema, a religious philosophy focused on the discovery and pursuit of one's "True Will." Written in 1904, the book was dictated to Crowley by an entity named Aiwass and is divided into three chapters, each narrated by different deities. The central themes include the famous phrases "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law" and "Love is the law, love under will," emphasizing individual purpose and love guided by true will. The book promotes self-discovery, personal freedom, and the ushering in of a new spiritual era.

I appreciate the voice quality, since stress, and modulation of sander Ravenwood no silly reverb effects noises. Well edited, no background noise

Dignified reading with sense stress

Fantastic narration. Thank you. This has been a wonderful listen. If you’re one of those kinda folks that likes this kind of thing then this is the kinda thing you’ll like.

Yassir, gone down what I wants to.

Sent me searching to learn more about the Author, and I gained new insight to help me make sense of the Book. Make sense, somewhat, but still mysteriously oblique. Newly introduced to A. Crowley’s actual writing, though very aware of his legendary legacy of influence to magick, Aleister’s preferred spelling.

Somewhat shocking… at first

Frater Perderabo is known for writing in a style that’s hard to comprehend, and yet the narrator manages to keep pace. Also Egyptian names are pronounced in a myriad of different ways, and I can appreciate that he maintains the same name throughout. Loved it!

Solid reading.
