The author did an excellent job in explaining how covid and the butterfly effect did change how we do thing s in the world. Things that most did not really thing about and the effects on their lives. The effect it had on social, economics, culturally, legislatively, education, health care, and our societies at large. She also talked about the things that Trump said and its effect on people. She did an excellent job on making sure her facts were right.

We were isolated due to how the virus spread and that caused may problems for family and society. Our child even though they may have been homeschooled during this isolation it was not the same for them. Many children had problems when returning to school both educational and socially.

This book is one of the best investigative books that I have read on the long-term effects covid has had on people and society.

This essentially is a modern day time capsule of what most would agree was the worst 2.5 years of our lives. The tragic loss of life, the desperation to survive and our ability to overcome and slowly begin to thrive is exactly what Maya was able to convey. The multi facet style of writing allows readers to perhaps understand the virus, cause and effect and one's ability to transform tragedy into triumph as we are on the cusp of regenification!
