About this listen

A camera, tainted with ancient, evil blood, is purchased by Detective Jack Hunger, who just wants to document his career as a crime scene photographer. He sets up his own darkroom at home, but when he develops the photograph of his first murder victim, something bizarre happens.

What follows sets him on a terrifying course from which he sees no escape. His only hope is to appeal to his best friend and Sergeant, Wayne Olsen, for help. Wayne's the only one who'll believe him.

The epic journey takes Jack and Wayne from southwest Florida to the heart of Texas, and finally, to the island of Aruba. As the body count rises, the urgency follows, and our heroes have to find some way to stop the murderous curse begun long, long ago.

Eric Shelman has broken a genre mold

I overlooked this title when I first found Erics works, I was all zombie all the time and dove had first into Dead Hunger, another of his series....I'm so glad I went back to this one. The Camera is a mind blowing, absolutely crazy twist on the "zombie" genre, Eric tells a story like very few can, and I highly recommend reading or listening to his works, plus check him out on Facebook to see inside the author and what kind of cool cat he really is.

I was on the fence.

Wasn't sure I'd like this book because it's not your ordinary zombie flick, and I only listen to zombie apocalypse books. Wow, did this change my mind. The book it well written with great characters, an awesome storyline, and a few twists. I love it when the author narrates their own books. You really get a sense of how the characters are supposed to be, and Shelmen knocked it out of the park.

I really enjoyed this trilogy.

I'm glad I purchaes the trilogy pack because it didn't take long to get hooked into the story. Great characters and plenty gory action. Make this your next read or listen and you won't be disappointed.
