Publisher's summary

Jonathan Dillon and his wife are going through a divorce. To their lawyer, they seem like they have mutually accepted it. They have made a difficult decision, but they are going through this trying time together, free of animosity or hate.

Some things, though, are not what they seem on the outside. After a seemingly freak accident, a truth comes to light. A decision is made, but not the morally right one. Everything comes back around, and some decisions leave a person with nothing but hell to pay.

A sleazy lawyer sniffs out the truth

This was a fun story, with the perfect narrator. The protagonist is a divorce lawyer with a nose for BS but a moral code that is, let’s say, flexible. When he is arbitrating a seemingly amicable divorce, one member of the couple turns up dead, and he must get to the bottom of it and how much he cares about doing “the right thing”

I’d listen to more by both this author and narrator for sure.

This Is A Good One

Cudos to the author, In my opinion he did a superb job on this short story. It is about a man who wants to divorce his wife, but he kills her with the help of his crooked lawyer, so he can get all the money, the gist of the story is about greed and the human conscience, this short story is highly recommended....Daniel Dorse as always does a fine job of narrating...I was provided an audiobook code at my request, and this is my voluntary unbiased review.

Greed, Conscious, and Karma

I loved this short novella because it deals with the horror of true life. The themes of greed, conscious, and karma are prominent throughout the book. The storyline is well written and for the most part believable. The narrator did a fantastic job bringing the story to life. I highly recommend this book to everyone. I received this book from Audiobooks Unleashed and this is my honest unbiased review.
