About this listen

In the dead of night, a thick fog lies over the black waters. You are aboard a fancy yacht full of fancy people who loathe one another. Suddenly you hear...A scream! A splash! A shot! The fateful cry, "Man Overboard!" And the next thing you know, you find yourself clutching a beautiful woman wearing only a flimsy nightgown. In her hands she holds a gun.

That's the predicament in which Perry Mason suddenly finds himself. But that's only the beginning. Things happen speedily and this woman finds herself in a court of law accused of murder. Perry Mason is the only person in the world to believe that she is innocent. So what does the grateful woman do? She fires him. Things are not as they seem.

better than the show

I started out watching the perry mason tv show, then I bought one of these Audio books for a road trip I was to take and have found the books far more entertaining than the tv show.
I regret watching so many of the tv shows because they spoil the book.

a very good series

I think the Perry Mason books Series is even better than the TV series. Alexander Cendese did a great job Narrating the series. I sure hope the rest of the series becomes available again soon. The next books in this series although are shown, have been pulled from the store. I highly recommend reading this series.

This might be my favorite so far!

I keep thinking that every time I get through another case. This one has a lot of good plot elements that made it really fun

How disappointing!

I was actually looking forward to revisiting the Perry Mason books, but I will not purchase another one. The narrator's voice for Della Street grates on every nerve.
