A Twisted Mystery

I enjoyed book nine of the "Inspector David Graham" series as much as the previous eight books. Once the audiobook started, I was glued to the mystery, and I had to listen until the end. Inspector David Graham's search for the truth had him questioning many suspects including members of the town's upper crust. This mystery was very much like a puzzle as I tried to put the clues together to solve it myself, before the big reveal at the end. The main characters were entertaining and in each subsequent book, I enjoyed their changes. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Matt Jamie's narration was skillful, and his performance enhanced the story's entertainment. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

Fresh and intriguing

How do two brothers heal a relationship haunted by family secrets? What becomes important to two officers facing the very real possibility of death? What do you do with a puppy that fails his final exam? And in the middle of all this there is a very intriguing mystery that needs to be solved.

Alison Graham's cozy mystery books remain fresh and challenging as her characters progress and their lives develop over the course of the series in a believable and relatable way. I recommend a 'visit' to the British Channel Islands on a regular basis!

I received a free copy of this audio book, and this is an honest review.

Excellent mystery

Cozy mystery, with plausible characters and plot. Plus it remained a mystery until near the end. Best of the series so far.

Highly recommended

This is Alison Golden at her finest! A local man is badly injured in an attack. Though he is well liked, the suspects are piling up. Inspector Graham and his team must use all their combined talents to solve this complex and twisty case. The writing is skilled and the characters seem like old friends, as this is the ninth book in the series. This audiobook is nicely performed and I enjoyed listening to it. I am looking forward to the next in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.
