About this listen
Have you met Inspector David Graham? Why not pick up this special offer (and a cup of tea) and get acquainted!
Graham is a detective inspector with London’s Metropolitan police force. He’s a career police officer, an educated, reserved, thoughtful, some might say, complex man.
He has suffered tragedy in his life that serves to exaggerate his more introspective characteristics and, like many of us, has to look his demons in the eye from time to time and make tough choices.
This box set contains the first four mysteries in this bestselling series:
The Case of the Screaming Beauty: Detective Inspector Graham is still reeling from a tragedy of his own when he is called in to investigate a murder at the prestigious Lavender bed and breakfast.
The Case of the Hidden Flame: Inspector David Graham is hoping for peace and quiet when he leaves city life behind for a quaint island village — but a suspicious death soon derails his plans.
The Case of the Fallen Hero: As he walks around the imposing Orgueil castle, Graham’s peaceful life comes to a shuddering halt when he finds a woman kneeling beside the body of a stricken man.
The Case of the Broken Doll: A missing girl. A broken doll. Dark, deviant secrets.
**This murder mystery series contains no profanity or graphic descriptions of sex or violence.**

Inspector Graham is my favorite detective
I enjoyed the Inspector Graham series when I read it as the books were released, but listening to the audio takes it to another level. The narration is perfect for the characters, the books each a good length for a quick, entertaining read. Alison Golden develops her story lines and characters throughout the series, keeping the content fresh with each story.

I really like this series
This is not really a cozy, its more of a well done police procedural. It is important to read book one as it is the only reference to the sadness in Inspector Graham and his reason for a transfer to Jersey. Otherwise, unlike other books. the murder and solving it are the heart of the story. We learn just a little about each one of the delightful cast of characters in each book. The epilogs are fantastic. I finished book five and am sad to see there are no more available from Audible. Matt Jamie is excellent. Unfortunately there are not many books in his audible catalog. I would like to hear him more often as well.

Wonderful Series
This set of the first four books in this wonderful series are nicely performed and pleasant to listen to. Inspector Graham is a master sleuth who digs deep into every case to find the perpetrator. These books are well written mysteries with plenty of twists and red herrings. I enjoyed this audiobook and am looking forward to the next in the series. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook and chose to write a voluntary, unbiased review.

Good plots, lively pace
The plots of each book were interesting - not just the same old murder mystery. Also, each book has two cases happening - the main and a
“lighter” one - so this keeps the story from dragging. Great read - very engaging.
