"Such a beautiful, festive read. I loved it!" (Boon's Bookcase)
From the USA Today best-selling author of Coming Home for Christmas, with over one million copies of her books sold, comes a heartwarming holiday story that’s perfect for fans of Sheila Roberts, Debbie Macomber, and Jill Shalvis.
Elizabeth Holloway's sparkling world comes crashing down around her when her boyfriend of seven years drops the bomb that he’s leaving her—at Christmas. In an attempt to piece her life back together, she suddenly finds herself 700 miles from her New York City home, trudging through the snow, back at her childhood farm in the Great Smoky Mountains.
And she isn’t expecting to meet visitor Paul Dawson with his dazzlingly blue eyes and warm smile, chipping away at her resolve to focus on figuring out who she is and what she really wants in life.
Just when she starts to think things are moving in the right direction, a stack of letters from Elizabeth’s grandmother will change everything she thought she knew about her family and cause a divide between her and Paul that she never saw coming.
Under the glitter of Christmas trees and bundles of mistletoe, Elizabeth uncovers more than she’d ever imagined. Will the Christmas letters strip her of everything she holds dear? Or will they be the biggest gift of the season?
A heartwarming holiday escape that will have you rushing to your loved ones this Christmas. If you enjoyed the Christmas movies based on Jenny’s books and are looking for more feel-good, small-town romance, look no further!

❄️ I’m always intrigued when a story includes found letters from the past. I think it is so romantic to read old letters and learn a little bit more, or a lot more in this case, about a person. Elizabeth has a stack of letters that her grandmother, saved that will tell a story that neither Elizabeth nor her mother knew anything about, which includes a shocking ending!
❄️ Small towns make the perfect Christmas romance setting. While reading, I was whisked away to Holloway, TN sitting on the front porch of my farm drinking hot apple cider while watching the snow fall. I love it when an author can be so descriptive that they take me to the magical place I’m reading about. What a great escape!
❄️ This is definitely Hallmark movie worthy!
❄️ It was easy to relate to Elizabeth. I think we’ve all had bad break-ups, and/or felt lost and not sure what to do with our lives. Liz felt this way after a breakup with her long-time boyfriend and returned home to find herself again and rebuild her life.
❄️ It’s a perfect feel-good uplifting holiday romance novel about the love of family, old friends, and new friends. I truly didn’t want this book to end!
🎄 Narrator, Emma Love did a fantastic job of transitioning from character to character. She made it easy to distinguish between each character with her different inflections. Her reading style brought the book to life and helped me to visualize the setting, the holiday decorations, and even smell of the food being cooked for Christmas dinner.
