About this listen

A comprehensive guide for physicians to learn about medical marijuana from a clinical perspective. The Clinician's Guide to Cannabis teaches doctors what to recommend for their patients to treat specific diseases. It tackles forms of use and amounts to take. Doctors will learn to counsel their patients in particular clinical scenarios so they feel comfortable when instructing them.

Written and narrated by Dr. Matthew Roman, MD, who is an experienced specialist and has treated thousands of patients with medical cannabis. He is also a medical marijuana patient himself and the first physician to publicly disclose this.

The title says it. If you are a doctor who wants a good introduction to both cannabis medicine as well as the subculture, this is a great starting book. It offers good scientific and anecdotal information about cannabis use in/by patients and most importantly for me, It corroborates my witnessed lack of effectiveness of CBD, amidst the mass craze about the products that contain it. It also warns patients to be careful with dispensaries and their non-medical staff who, with more good intentions than factual data, can offer misleading information. Lastly, I wish the book were longer. Good job, Dr. Roman!

Great book if you know nothing about cannabis
